and they only amplify my dream of doing the same exploring national parks,

hiking through mountains and wide open landscapes and camping in a tent or a van while backpacking.

I know you shouldn't wait for life for the perfect moment

and that people who wait for life to begin often end up wasting precious time.

But I also think it's realistic to admit

that sometimes you do need to wait to be able to pursue what you truly want.

Life isn't as straightforward as some people make it seem.

Right now I more or less have to go to school.

In theory I could quit but I want to get into a good college and eventually find a job I genuinely enjoy.

One that allows me to live without constantly worrying about the financial side of life.

And that pretty much takes quitting out of the equation.

But don't get me wrong, I love learning and I am genuinely grateful for the chance to get an education.

It's just that part of me would much rather spend my days in nature, taking in the views, living in the moment,

meeting new people, and not feeling anxious about deadlines for things that don't truly matter to me.

That's why I chose to make this video, to remind myself and anyone who isn't yet where they want to be to stay patient

while still making the most out of today.

The truth is we don't know how long we have so don't take things you have right now for granted.

Show appreciation and be grateful for every single day you get.
