The main objective of the scenario is to show the recruiter you're super good in doing teamwork.
18
Talking over other people, shouting, leading too much will fail you.
19
Staying quiet, not interacting at all, not adding any value to the decision making will also fail you.
20
The recruiters don't really care about your answer.
21
They care how you choose the answer, how you all come to an agreement in choosing the answer.
22
The way the scenario works is the following.
23
The recruiter provides you details to the scenario and gives you around 5-15 minutes, depending on the size of the group,
24
to discuss and choose among your team which is the correct answer.
25
The recruiter will walk around and listen carefully to the way you communicate.
26
He'll take several notes and compile a portfolio of good or bad actions you've had within your group.
27
Once the time is up, you'll be confronted by the recruiter who will try to break you down with words
28
and aggressive behavior to see how long you can handle stress and how you handle it.
29
The recruiter will rotate characters by impersonating them and assaulting you verbally.
30
Whatever you say, whatever excuse you find, she'll try to break you down and refuse your apologies.

46
To make this episode more realistic, we made a live example for you to learn from.
47
Excuse me.
48
Uh, yes madam, what can I do for you?
49
I don't have a blanket.
50
You didn't have a blanket on your seat when you first entered the airport?
51
No, look.
52
How is this possible?
53
I'm very sorry about that.
54
I believe some other passenger must have taken it because they were feeling a bit cold during boarding.
55
Oh, nice of them.
56
Okay, but no problem.
57
What I'll be doing is I'll be going throughout the whole cabin searching for a blanket for you.
58
I'll ask my colleagues if they have any in their relevant areas.
59
Okay, please do.
60
I'll be right back.
61
Thanks.
62
Madam, I'm very sorry I couldn't find a blanket for you.
63
So no worries, I've escalated the problem to my seniors
64
and you'll probably end up getting a blanket from business class or first class.
65
Is that okay for you?
66
Yeah, that's totally fine as long as I get it.
67
You will definitely.
68
So I'll get back to you, okay?
69
Thank you.
70
Thank you.
71
Use these effective body language tricks while interacting with a passenger.
72
Listen completely and don't interrupt the passenger.
73
Slightly and continuously with your head as the passenger talks.
74
Make a serious and slightly upset face.
75
As the passenger talks, look down for a while as
76

77
When it's your turn to speak, always look at the passenger in the eyes.
78
Keep your arms straight along your body, let one hand grab your chin to show extra interest.
79
Avoid the following body language mistakes.
80

88
Avoid saying so...
89
Uh...
90
We just sooo...uh...we just couldn't...we...uh...uh...uh...uh...uh...I mean like...
91
So, to recap, this is what you need to do to pass the group exercise.
92
Listen and absorb the problem.
93
Apologize immediately.
94
Show your understanding and empathy.
95
Point out which solutions are available, point out what you're going to do, explain what course of actions you'll be taking and what are you starting with with.
96
Explain very well why you're taking those actions with full details.
97
Give power to the passenger by making him feel important.
98
Inform the passenger that you'll alert other crew members for a more successful resolution of the problem.
99
If the problem still isn't solved, consult your seniors only as a final resort.
100
As a rule of thumb, don't ever forget of the passenger.
101
Always check on the passenger.
102
So always go back and see if he's satisfied or not with what happened and the resolution you've taken.
