The I
2
landed in Miami at 5 a.m and I was like, okay now we're starting the day, baby.
3
We're in Miami.
4
We're gonna go wild.
5
We're gonna go wet and wild.
6
We're in Miami, baby.
7
And then I was like, okay, actually, unfortunately, I can't get wet and wild because I'm way too tired.
8
And so I slept until like 1 p.m and then now it's 3 p.m and I haven't even been outside yet.
9
And I have a feeling I won't go outside today until the event that I have tonight, which is at 8 p.m.
10
I don't think I'm going to go outside.
11
I hate when I'm inside all day.
12
It just feels terrible.
13
Sometimes a red-eye flight works for me and it's totally fine
14
and I land and I'm able to have a full day
15
because I feel really rested from sleeping on the plane and sometimes I sleep on the plane and it's just not enough.
16
And I land and I'm like, nope, I need to take a nap and I need to lay in bed all day.
17
And this is one of those times when I just need to lay in bed all day.
18
I mean, I might be able to take a walk.
19
I'm getting my hair and makeup done for this event tonight at 5 p.m.
20
It is exactly 3.20 p.m right now.
21
Like, I could go take a little 40-minute walk.
22
What do I do?
23
But I also need to take a shower like I need
24
to take a full shower like I need to shave my legs I need to wash my hair.
25
I need to brush my teeth in the shower I need
26
to take a full shower like I need to exfoliate my skin like I need to take a full shower Oh
27
I feel good
28
So now I have to figure out how the shower works
29
and this is gonna take me 20 to 30 minutes My
30
own shower at home easy peasy obviously it's my shower I know what to do a new shower
31
that I've never experienced before it's a mess I don't know what to do.
32
Let's see.
33
So this is hot.
34
This is cold.
35
This is up.
36
This is down, okay Okay, so far so good.
37
We'll see.
38
Honestly, like kind of editorial.
39
It's kind of good.
40
Is this working?
41
No. Okay, now the floor is all wet.
42
What's happening?
43
The End
44
Get creative,
45
get artsy.
46
For some reason when I'm traveling I'm like so bad about my social media usage.
47
Like I know, I'm like fuck it, I'm not reading a book.
48
I'm scrolling on Instagram.
49
I'm indulging.
50
Anytime I travel I'm just so indulgent about everything.
51
Oh good, my daily average is eight hours.
52
Yeah, but that includes like everything.
53
I know.
54
Let's see what I use the most.
55
Oh, I use Instagram for two hours a day.
56
Calendar for 30 minutes is so accurate.
57
Because I'm always on my Google Calendar obsessing over it.
58
I'm too obsessed with angel numbers.
59
Like I keep seeing 10 today and I'm like, what does that mean?
60
Now I need to Google the angel number meaning of 10.
61
Like everything's 10 for me today.
62
Okay, 10 means you've completed a cycle in your life and a new chapter is about to begin.
63
Hell yeah!
64
What the fuck does that mean?
65
I really
66
I thought that I was gonna go out tonight because I was like, I'm in Miami.
67
Okay, this is a party place.
68
Sorry if I'm talking weird.
69
I have my retainers in.
70
I'm in this social phase of my life.
71
I've been loving the nightlife.
72
I don't know.
73
So I really thought I was gonna do it tonight and I didn't.
74
Oh my god, I'm so thirsty.
75
I can't get up.
76
I can't get up again.
77
Sorry.
78
I'm so dehydrated.
79
My head hurts, but I can't unfortunately get up again. So I'm
80
sorry.
81
I'm gonna try to get some more of a drink.
82
Ow.
83
Latte, hot, with almond milk.
84
I don't know what has gotten into me.
85
I'm in like a somewhat tropical location and I was like, I want a hot little latte this morning.
86
I will say though, it is kind of cold.
87
Like, actually I think my room is cold because I turned the AC on really high high.
88
Turned my room down to like 67 degrees and it was so cold I slept with my socks on
89
and I slept with my hoodie on which is like kind of unnecessary
90
but I just love a frigid cold room when I go to sleep.
91
I took it a little bit too far last night so maybe that's why I wanted a hot latte today.
92
Okay so it's too hot but then I also got an iced Americano but here's the problem with an iced Americano.
93
A lot of times they don't make it right.
94
And I, listen, I'm not a trained barista.
95
I don't make the most perfect lattes.
96
I don't make the most perfect espresso.
97
Okay.
98
So now that I've said that, basically they make it wrong.
99
Okay.
100
An iced Americano is espresso, water, and ice.
101
And obviously espresso is hot, right?
102
So a lot of times when you order an Americano, an iced Americano at a cafe, they won't put enough ice in.
103
So they'll pour the espresso over the ice and then they'll just pour water on top.
104
And then when you get the drink, it's kind of warm.
105
You know, they haven't like mixed it up.
106
The way I like to make an iced Americano is they put a lot of ice in all the way up.
107
Then I pour espresso in.
108
Then I mix it up to get the espresso really cold.
109
Make sure that I still have enough ice.
110
Then I pour water on top.
111
This straw is going to be disintegrated in about 30 seconds.
112
It's going to get squishy because it's a paper one.
113
Something weird happens when I'm traveling where I do get two coffees in the morning.
114
Like when I go to the first little cafe that I go to, I tend to get two drinks.
115
I don't know what that is because when I'm at home, I just make one drink.
116
I think it's because I don't know what I'm to like.
117
And it's so important that I have my coffee in the morning
118
that I just would rather order two and like one of them.
119
Like really enjoy one of them than get one drink and be kind of disappointed with how it turned out.
120
Listen, I have no room to be a snob, okay?
121
I'm no perfect barista at home.
122
I would like to actually learn how to be a barista.
123
So I might sign up for a class to learn because I think that would be kind of cool.
124
And it's a skill that I would definitely use.
125
So, maybe I'll sign up for that.
126
I don't know where you sign up for that, though.
127
It's like...
128
I'll figure it out.
129
Actually, I'll make my mom figure it out.
130
The hot latte today is really good.
131
Dang, and it's got like this nice foam.
132
Wait, now I'm paranoid that this isn't almond milk.
133
It definitely is.
134
Yeah.
135
Regular milk has this like...
136
I don't like it.
137
I don't like it.
138
It has this sort of like weird sour aftertaste, which is not I mean listen It's not like the worst thing in the world, but
139
Welcome to a new segment
140
that I'd like to call Emma's mini bar review today We're
141
going to be reviewing the mini bar here at the hotel that I'm staying at in South Beach, Miami We have the mini bar behind us
142
and I'm gonna be discussing what type of snacks and drinks that they have in this hotel and share my thoughts.
143
So stay tuned and get excited.
144
Bark thins.
145
Dark chocolate pretzel and sea salt.
146
That does sound good.
147
I would try that.
148
Okay, we have multiple bars of chocolate.
149
This one is super food.
150
Now, I don't know how I feel about that.
151
Organic goji berries, dried blueberries, chia seeds.
152
If I'm having a fucking chocolate bar, Give me some goddamn peanuts and caramel in it.
153
But you know what, I'm not gonna be an asshole.
154
Like I, you know...
155
It's a nice thought.
156
Honestly, I might end up eating this.
157
Fancy potato chips.
158
Black truffle.
159
Let me be honest, truffle is like a hit or miss flavor for me though.
160
Like some days when I eat something that's truffle, I'm like, yum, yum, yum, yum.
161
And then some days when I eat truffle, I'm like, ew, this is fucking disgusting.
162
I never want to taste this foul flavor ever again.
163
We'll see what type of mood I'm in on this trip and we'll see if I end up eating these.
164
Okay, these look actually really fun.
165
Dark chocolate and coconut.
166
Little bites.
167
This will be my little travel snack.
168
I mean my flight is like three hours.
169
I'm only going to New York, but...
170
You never know, you might need a little dark chocolate and coconut bite.
171
Ooh!
172
See, this is better, I think, than the truffle chips.
173
Jalapeno, kettle brand, super crunchy.
174
Wow, so crunchy.
175
Such a crunchy chip.
176
These are jalapeno, yum.
177
A little spicy, yum.
178
I love spicy.
179
Okay, but the bag feels crushed already.
180
It's like chip cereal in here.
181
You know, I just pour it out and it'd just be like a bunch of tiny pieces.
182
Might as well just pour some milk on it and eat it like cereal at this point, but I mean still happy it's here.
183
Plantain strips, yum.
184
My god, I love plantain chips.
185
I used to eat plantain chips constantly as a kid.
186
My mom was obsessed with them.
187
So this is a nostalgic snack and I will probably eat these too.
188
I'm honestly not, I keep saying I'm gonna eat this stuff, but actually I'm only gonna be here for another like 24 hours Like I'm not gonna eat these.
189
I'm gonna have to start making some choices Wow, wow, my favorite brand of popcorn in the entire world my Bjornkorn, they have the Bjornkorn.
190
That is fucking amazing You know what?
191
I'm putting this in my bed and when I'm working on my computer today At some point I'm gonna be like,
192
ooh Mommy needs a snack and then I'm gonna grab this and I'm gonna be happy so Turkey jerky and beef jerky.
193
Not for me, so who cares?
194
I have never eaten beef jerky because I've been a vegetarian pretty much my whole life.
195
I've always been angry at people who do because anytime somebody opens up a bag of beef jerky,
196
it just makes the entire room reek and just smell so potently of beef jerky.
197
I've always been like, how can you eat this?
198
It's like a complete social faux pas.
199
Like, you can't open this bag in public.
200
You're stinking out the whole room.
201
Like, what are you doing?
202
I don't, whatever.
203
We have two little granola bars that I probably won't eat.
204
So, I mean, they look good, but it's like, I'd so much rather eat my little snack in ball form.
205
Way more fun.
206
These still look good, though.
207
I mean, but no. Ball form?
208
Fun.
209
Bar form?
210
Come on.
211
These are good.
212
Tate's cookies, these are good.
213
They're crispy, which is not normally what I like.
214
I actually normally like a chewy cookie, but these are fine.
215
Let's go into the drink fridge and see if there's anything good in here.
216
Oh shit.
217
Plant Botanical Vodka Seltzer. That actually sounds good.
218
I'm not going to drink it because I don't like vodka.
219
Wait, it has superfood ingredients.
220
Dandelion, goji berry, ginseng, angelica.
221
It's actually kind of cool, but maybe I will drink it.
222
Pellegrino.
223
Okay.
224
They have a lot of different kinds of beer.
225
As much as I'd love to be a girl who cracks open a beer at the end of the night, I'm not because beer hurts my stomach.
226
So I'm not a beer girl.
227
I wish I was I wish I was it would look super cool imagine me at a bar just like
228
Good to see You know me with a beer such a cool vibe,
229
but it's never gonna happen so coconut water.
230
I do love coconut water Apple juice okay, Casamigos a little maker's mark you get the idea.
231
It's like it's all happening So I'm gonna give this mini bar honestly a really good rating.
232
I would say
233
that this is a phenomenal mini bar We're not just talking about a little bag of M&Ms
234
and a bag of Lay's potato chips, okay?
235
We're talking about some variety here.
236
We're talking about something unique I'm gonna give this mini bar an 8.5 out of 10
237
and I might bump it to a 9 because they have this popcorn
238
I'm going
239
to the vanilla cream.
240
Classic.
241
Uh, 12 ounce.
242
Can I do that with Mac Pay Payment?
243
We're supposed to leave at 7,
244
but the traffic is worse than having anticipated, and we're not close to the menu,
245
so maybe we do, if we can leave in a 40 minutes, 45 minutes.
246
Okay.
247
I have never started a photo shoot at night.
248
Me neither.
249
Like starting a photo shoot at 8pm is something I cannot comprehend.
250
It's like a fun night adventure.
251
But like wrapping at midnight or 1 in the morning is crazy to me.
252
I know.
253
My flight's tomorrow at...
254
I have to be up by 4am.
255
My flight's at 6.30.
256
Ours is at 7.
257
We have to be up at 4 too.
258
I know.
259
It would be kind of nice though, because it's like, you sleep on the plane.
260
Yeah.
261
Where are you flying to? To LA.
262
Oh, see you're lucky because you can do a full sleep.
263
Oh yeah.
264
You're going to New York.
265
We're going to New York so we're kind of screwed a little bit.
266
Wait, are you going straight into work?
267
No, I don't work tomorrow.
268
Okay.
269
Thank you.
270
Listen, it's 2 in the morning, or is it 1 a.m.?
271
No, it's 2 a.m.
272
I have never finished a photo shoot this late.
273
We started shooting at like 8 p.m., and then we shot from 8 to 9, 10, 11, 12.
274
Yeah, it was only like 4 hours.
275
This is the third banana I've had today.
276
my body wants a banana today.
277
I might crush this one too.
278
I don't know yet.
279
But here's the thing.
280
I need to stop talking with my mouth full.
281
I leave for the airport at 5 a.m
282
and my flight is at 7 a.m and I'm flying to New York
283
which I'm stoked about because the weather is cold and I'm ready to wear a scarf.
284
I did just throw my banana peel on my nightstand.
285
I did not experience Miami at all.
286
I really was convinced I was gonna go out in Miami.
287
I was like, that's what you do in Miami.
288
Nope.
289
Great combo.
290
Um, I'm just trying to figure out if I'm gonna go to sleep because should I go to sleep?
291
I'm gonna eat the other banana too.
292
Banana number four of the day.
293
I don't know what's wrong with me.
294
Like it's so many bananas, but maybe my body needs potassium and that's why I'm like craving them.
295
I'm gonna pack and then I'm gonna see what time it is and I'm gonna weigh the pros and cons.
296
I'm going to sleep for a few hours.
297
I don't think I'm gonna go to sleep.
298
Really?
299
Sometimes bananas gross me out so bad, like, the thought of a banana makes me nauseous, and sometimes they're all I want to eat.
300
It's so weird.
301
Explain that.
302
Oh, my God.
303
Hey.
304
Yes.
305
Yes.
306
Yes.
307
The End
308
Thank you.
309
The End
310
I'm sorry. so bad, but...
311
Yum!
312
Buffalo cauliflower. So yum.
313
My stomach is gonna hurt so bad.
314
But here I am.
315
Yum.
316
Wow.
317
Wow, yum.
318
Wow.
319
They did not give me enough dressing.
320
This is just dry.
321
This is gonna be the driest salad of my life.
322
It's so dry.
323
I am so tired.
324
I'm sorry.
325
The rest
326
is for you.
327
It's so good.
328
We love you, Mom.
329
We love you so much.
330
Okay, let's hold our service.
331
What do you want?
332
I want to see what they have.
333
Are you guys serving food right now?
334
Oh, okay, let me look at your menu.
335
Where can I...
336
Oh, it's in this?
337
Oh, I have it.
338
I'll call you back.
339
Thank you.
340
He's like, okay.
341
Okay, can we eat?
342
We have to fart.
343
Can I fart?
344
I'm gonna read you everything they have.
345
Okay.
346
Free range eggs, any style...
347
This is breakfast, Owen.
348
We can't have this.
349
Why?
350
It might be good for right now.
351
No. No, they said any time.
352
Oh.
353
Toasted bagel, amazing.
354
Seasonal green, ew.
355
Honey nut squash soup.
356
Ew.
357
They don't even have a Caesar salad.
358
Ooh, granola.
359
That could be good.
360
With oat milk.
361
French fries.
362
Ooh, french fries.
363
That's easy.
364
Brussels sprouts, yeah.
365
French fries and Brussels sprouts?
366
Yeah, let's do that.
367
Order fries and Brussels sprouts. Should I?
368
But how long will it take?
369
Two hours.
370
Eat another thing from the mini bar.
371
Do you want me to bring you the whole mini bar?
372
The mini bar?
373
Snacks suck.
374
I've never seen a less stacked mini bar.
375
I know, it's not stacked.
376
Should we go out? Should we?
377
Oh my god.
378
I got you.
379
It's 3 in the morning.
380
Okay, let's pick somewhere to go.
381
What?
382
And then drive by.
383
You can't really do that in New York.
384
No. I love driving by places and seeing who's outside.
385
Me too.
386
I used to drive by the club on the weekends.
387
What club?
388
One Oak.
389
Yeah.
390
Me and my friends would wait outside and roll down the windows and be like, We're looking for Jessica. Is she here?
391
Because we wanted to kill time so that we could look.
392
The people in line probably thought You did not know Jessica.
393
They probably thought you were trying to start a fight.
394
You know what I mean?
395
They're like, Jessica, fuck my boyfriend.
396
Is she here?
397
Is fucking here?
398
You didn't approach it with like, yeah, you didn't approach it with like, oh my god, Jess?
399
Wait, I'm picking up Jess.
400
You approached it like, is Jess here?
401
We've been looking for Jess all night.
402
Where the fuck is Jess?
403
Cause I'm about to fucking get out of the car.
404
Should we walk somewhere?
405
Like, walk somewhere.
406
It's dangerous.
407
It's 3 in the morning, we can't walk anywhere.
408
No, we could actually.
409
In New York, it's totally fine.
410
But also like...
411
It's totally fine!
412
Well...
413
Oh my god.
414
What does that mean?
415
Oh my god, read it from here.
416
Read it from here.
417
Isn't that crazy?
418
Ew.
419
Whatever I just read, I want to unread.
420
No, seriously, I can't be honest.
421
I want to show the camera that so that they can see what I just saw.
422
It's like when you see the worst image ever of like a horrifying, like, something horrible in nature, and you're like, that happens?
423
And then you have to show someone else because you have to, you know what I'm saying?
424
Like a blowfish.
425
Should we order the Cuban panini?
426
No. What's in it?
427
What's in it?
428
What's in it?
429
Smoked ham.
430
I'm a vegetarian.
431
But I'll eat it. That was crazy. So crazy.
432
Can I see the rest of it?
433
Yeah.
434
No, don't.
435
Put that in there.
436
Oh my god.
437
Kind of funny.
438
It's not funny, but it's a great...
439
No, but you get what I'm saying?
440
It's not fun.
441
It's not...
442
It's weird.
443
It's not inherently funny.
444
Okay, wait, what would...
445
If you had to get one thing off the room service menu, what would you get?
446
No, that's what I'm saying.
447
I would get French fries.
448
I would get French fries, but I would order you the Autumn Mushroom Bourgogneau.
449
Bourgogneau.
450
Wait, that was actually a really good phrase.
451
Okay, if I did you anything, I would get you the Café Euglery. Of course.
452
