Creazione lezione...
1
And welcome back to the podcast Slow and Clear podcast.
2
Cool, what's up English?
3
My name is Carter.
4
and Today, you're going to learn how to talk about Your daily routine.
5
Not only that, but you're going to learn many different activities,
6
and fun things that people do and not even just fun things, but things.
7
that people do in Vietnam.
8
So this will be really useful for you to
9
make plans with someone for you to talk about what you did on the weekend,
10
for you to simply make small talk with other people,
11
So first, I'm going to tell you guys about my daily routine in Hanoi.
12
And spoiler alert: It's really nothing too special.
13
It's very...
14
Normal, I would say.
15
I wake up.
16
If it's.. in the winter then it can be pretty hard to get out of bed because your bed is so warm,
17
outside is so cold.
18
Even in summer in Vietnam, it can be hard to get out of your room because you have the air conditioner on and it feels so cool.
19
and outside of your room is really hot, But yeah, so I wake up.
20
And then I usually...
21
go outside, and get some sunlight into my eyes.
22
I'm not the best sleeper, I have trouble sleeping.
23
So I researched online to go outside get sun in your eyes in the morning,
24
and also try to Raise your body temperature by doing some exercise.
25
So sometimes I will walk to the rooftop my apartment building through the stairs.
26
from a very low floor to the top floor.
27
and that is my exercise and then i get the sunlight on the rooftop.
28
So after I walk from my floor to the rooftop I'm usually feeling pretty...
29
pretty hot from the exercise.
30
and then I stand on the rooftop for about five or 10 minutes, get the sunlight.
31
Then I go back down.
32
I brew a coffee.
33
with the, uh, Vietnamese Fiend.
34
In English, maybe it's just called the Vietnamese coffee filter.
35
or we call it Vietnamese drip coffee.
36
So I brew one of those with a little bit of condensed milk and a pinch of salt.
37
And then while that's brewing, I will maybe go on my computer Uh,
38
plan my day, check the tasks that I have to do, um usually some form of work.
39
because early in the morning, I'm still in a relaxed mood.
40
And in the morning, I feel like it's easier to focus.
41
So when my coffee is ready, I drink my coffee.
42
And then sometimes I will do a quick workout Like, before it was only a short small workout.
43
And then after I drink the coffee, I'm like, oh, I'm pumped up.
44
So then maybe I'll do a.
45
Workout.
46
And then after that, often I will Eat.
47
and then go to work.
48
So what I eat in the morning, is pretty much only two things.
49
It is either pho. or oatmeal.
50
It depends on what I feel like.
51
But to be honest, I feel like I could eat pho every day.
52
and not get tired of it.
53
Well, I do eat pho everyday.
54
and I don't really feel tired of it so i don't know there's something magic
55
about that dish to be honest because you can eat it so often and you don't get tired of it.
56
It's crazy So yeah, I eat.
57
I go to work Um...
58
My job is at a middle school That's all I will say.
59
after work I usually come straight home.
60
because at that time, is rush hour.
61
and rush hour guys is usually between like five and six It can go a little bit longer to 6 :30.
62
But that's when the traffic is the worst.
