Pratica di Shadowing: THE DISCLAIMER: Let It Breathe - Impara a parlare inglese con i video

Creazione lezione...
1
Okay now, full disclosure.
2
It's recording, that's a good start.
3
Full disclosure fellas, brand new system's been installed.
4
Yeah.
5
So I have no idea if this is gonna work or not, but we'll have a crack.
6
Here we go.
7
For all you mad bastards loving the Big Show podcast, get up even closer on Instagram,
8
YouTube, and TikTok, or 4.0.
9
4 to 7 every weekday.
10
On Radio Hoda Aircast.
11
Oh, g'day, Phil.
12
Backbone.
13
Hello, it seems...
14
Look at Keezy's furrowed brain.
15
Yeah, he's...
16
What's happening here is it sounds like the sound effects, like the outro admin just then, was way quieter than our voices are.
17
It's the best it's ever been.
18
Looking at the waveforms, you know.
19
Never better.
20
It just felt crystal to me.
21
You can't even see...
22
The whole new system.
23
Hey, Mogey, Mogey!
24
Old Keezy's got a Coke.
25
He's got a can of Coke there.
26
Oh dear.
27
Oh, shuffling.
28
He's looking a bit glassy-eyed as well.
29
Yeah.
30
A few beers last night, brother.
31
Damn.
32
The old freebies there.
33
Didn't ya?
34
one of those lights off the tray there.
35
What is that, a pinot?
36
I had a couple of beers, yes, with pugs.
37
However, no, I just didn't sleep very well last night.
38
You're really struggling at the moment, aren't you?
39
But there's a bit like you're right.
40
This apple cart's been rocked a little bit.
41
Yeah.
42
Apple cart's rocked a little bit.
43
You've got moves on.
44
There's things happening.
45
You're stressed out.
46
A lot of stuff happening.
47
You're not in control, Keezy.
48
Everything's not how it's meant to be.
49
I'm careening out of control right now.
50
The trailer's a bit open, and the apples are just dropping out the side.
51
I'll tell you what will help, man.
52
Wake up in the middle of the night and think about it.
53
That's what I did.
54
And it didn't really help.
55
No. I couldn't think of anything.
56
No. But then today I've just been a bit like, so now that I'm here I'm just like, fuck, I'll have a Coke, man.
57
Yeah, man, yeah.
58
So I got to that with, because I do a lot of that.
59
Sort of it's been better this year.
60
And you just get to a point where being tired just becomes your normal.
61
Yes, very much so.
62
Which is really good.
63
It's a great place to get to when you eventually get to that.
64
Just becomes your normal.
65
I'm not tired anymore.
66
This is just how I feel.
67
This is good.
68
So you're awake all night and then you just work all day.
69
You have a shit sleep and then you get up again, so on and so forth.
70
You see these massive sacks under my eyes there, Keezy?
71
Yeah.
72
I've been doing that three or four years.
73
Just, I mean, you've got legit things to worry about.
74
Just invents things.
75
I just invent stuff.
76
Yeah, right.
77
But having said that, I've also had some very legit things to worry about.
78
You have, actually.
79
I do invent stuff.
80
You've forgotten about that stuff.
81
Oh, that's right.
82
Your wife's leaving you.
83
Oh, my God.
84
That's the least of my problems.
85
Yeah, and on the downside.
86
That's a blip on the radar for you.
87
There's nothing.
88
Yeah, man.
89
Yeah.
90
No, I mean, I don't know about you guys, but I wake up every morning and I'm like, oh, fuck.
91
Here we go again.
92
Here we go.
93
I do.
94
I wake up and I'm fucking fizzing.
95
The only thing I'm not super thrilled about is, last night was good, because I went home and I had a bath, and I listened to the This Worry Is Life,
96
watched it on This Warrior's Life podcast on YouTube in the bath.
97
Had a soak there, Keezy.
98
Straight to bed.
99
Lights out at eight o'clock.
100
Wow.
101
And then my wife, because my wife can't handle any light coming into the room, so she puts her arm over her eyes.
102
Yes.
103
Right?
104
And then her arm slips off her face and she elbows me.
105
So I'm on her right.
106
She always uses her right arm to cover her eyes.
107
Never left.
108
her right, so just elbow me, put it back up.
109
Elbow me, put it back up.
110
You can see the pattern here, Keezy.
111
It's just one of those things where I'm just like, she should get an eye mask.
112
100%.
113
And she's got two.
114
Doesn't wear them.
115
No, she likes them.
116
She just doesn't wear them.
117
Yeah.
118
So that's all good, man, because I'm sleeping like a baby over there anyway.
119
Yeah.
120
Do you know what would fix?
121
I reckon you guys should have bunk beds.
122
Yeah, it does feel like...
123
My daughter's got a bunk bed.
124
So swap that out and give her the double.
125
It's getting to that point, you know, where you have your single beds with your ornaments in between.
126
Look, you know.
127
You know what I mean?
128
Matching quilted beds.
129
What my wife does, she doesn't bash me, but she slowly slides down the bed.
130
And so I'm like, you know.
131
She's trying to slide out.
132
And I'm trying to get my arm around and nestle into the buttock area.
133
She doesn't want that.
134
And she's just sliding further down the bed.
135
But that's what got her into this problem in the first place is you doing that.
136
What, trying to settle into it? successfully doing that.
137
Into her butt-offs.
138
So she'd be fuming if she heard this.
139
So she slowly makes her way down and out of the bed, whereas you- No, not out of the bed.
140
She's got a bag packed by the door.
141
And I'm like- She's just trying to get out.
142
I'll wake up at like three in the morning and I'll put my- Oh, she's not- and she's way down the bed.
143
And she's out the door like this.
144
And I'll go, hey!
145
Hey, where are you going?
146
Get back.
147
Whereas you grab all the blankets and turn it into a big pretzel.
148
The Horaki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Horaki.
149
Oh, g'day, mate.
150
Oh, hi, mate.
151
Yeah.
152
Look, if you want the chance to win all our on-air competitions and stuff and get amongst the live conversation,
153
tune in to the Horaki Big Show, four to seven weekdays on Radio Horaki and iHeartRadio.
154
The Horaki Big Show podcast.
155
What I do is I get sweaty thighs, so I like cool duvet and sheets.
156
So even in the winter you get back?
157
No, I don't really, but it's a comfort thing.
158
And I put it between my thighs, right, and I clamp it.
159
What do you do with your massive nutsack?
160
And then I roll over, and as I'm doing that, because I've clamped the duvet between my thighs, I pull the duvet with me.
161
Right.
162
And I'll toss and turn all night.
163
And so I end up like a caterpillar in a cocoon.
164
And my wife has a corner of it.
165
You haven't answered my question about the nut sack.
166
Well, my nut sack...
167
Do you push your balls out to sit on top of your thighs, or are they tucked in between your thighs?
168
Well, they're in my undies, so they're not really doing anything anything yeah i don't go
169
nude like you guys you have to go nude man otherwise
170
you're wearing your entire life you've got a waistband around your
171
midriff you've got to let it breathe let it breathe man
172
you're choking it out man you're choking it out bro brother um i don't know
173
that my wife would be stoked
174
if i was nude in bed really my wife wouldn't give a shit
175
because we're married and And she doesn't mind me being nude.
176
Yeah, it's disgust here.
177
It is just how it is.
178
She loves it, man.
179
I find that interesting because...
180
Do you know she rang Jason tears?
181
Because for someone that doesn't like being nude in front of everyone, you'll get your kid off.
182
What?
183
Me?
184
Yeah, I mean, you're nude in bed.
185
What do you mean?
186
Of course I don't like being naked in front of everyone.
187
Who likes being naked in front of everyone?
188
I can see you.
189
Through the window.
190
He can see you through the window.
191
If I didn't know that, I would see you as a full-pressed pyjama man.
192
Yep.
193
You know what I mean?
194
I agree.
195
You know, probably buttoned up.
196
Long sleeves.
197
Long sleeves.
198
It's got a pocket on it, probably monogrammed.
199
Yes.
200
Little handkerchief folded up in there.
201
You've got slippers.
202
Slippers by the side of the bed.
203
Yeah, a pipe.
204
You just blow bubbles out of it.
205
And you'll be in the lounge like, doosh, doosh, doosh, doosh, playing your game dressed like that.
206
Yeah.
207
And your wife will be like, are you coming to bed? and you'll be like, in a moment, darling.
208
That's not my fault.
209
And I'll just finish my glass of sherry.
210
Port, actually, Jase.
211
Port.
212
Port.
213
Penfolds, my favourite.
214
God, I haven't had port in a long, long time.
215
Well, I hope you're ready to have it again.
216
Oh, yeah.
217
Oh, yeah.
218
As part of my come dine with me, we're going to send all the wives to bed.
219
Simply must.
220
And then have a small glass of port and play PlayStation together.
221
Circle jerk.
222
Is that the name of the game you're playing at the moment?
223
Doosh, doosh, doosh.
224
Jerk, jerk.
225
Did you not do the hand movement with that?
226
It was a double joystick.
227
Yeah.
228
Two joysticks, a couple of joysticks.
229
Oh, it's funny stuff, guys.
230
Oh, great stuff.
231
We're doing breakfast tomorrow, by the way.
232
So I want you to realise that we're going to go straight from here, straight to bed, sleep for two hours, get up and back into it.
233
Well, it's good, isn't it?
234
I always enjoy the first hour of breakfast because old Keezy takes about an hour to wake up.
235
He does.
236
And so you can just sort of have your fun with him.
237
Yeah, you can.
238
Yeah, just have your way with him.
239
It's fine.
240
What I actually remind us when I come in is you guys just are super chill.
241
I'm always chill in the morning, man.
242
Being good fellas about it.
243
I'm depressed in the morning.
244
Why do you wake up in the morning and go, oh, fuck, you've got this beautiful apartment, beautiful wife, lovely family you know great job yeah I think it's the job
245
you're probably going to have hot pot at some stage during the day
246
but you still wake up going I don't know what it is apparently
247
if I was watching this thing it's low cortisol I'm burning all my cortisol up.
248
How do you get cortisol?
249
I don't know, but it's something in the system where you're constantly in anxiety mode
250
and you're burning shit up all the time.
251
Right.
252
And so you wake up just like, ah.
253
Really?
254
Even in your sleep, you're like that.
255
But then I'll have a coffee.
256
Is that true?
257
You're heightening it.
258
Yeah, too much cortisol.
259
Here you go.
260
ways to support a healthy cortisol rhythm.
261
Exercise.
262
Yeah, I do that.
263
I walk all over the place.
264
Moderate to high intensity physical activity.
265
No. Get morning sunlight.
266
Step outside.
267
View natural light within an hour of waking up.
268
Where do they get that shit from?
269
Where do they get that bullshit?
270
I don't know, man.
271
That's a new thing, that.
272
That's just telling me to get some D.
273
Vitamin D, 100%.
274
Stay hydrated.
275
That makes sense.
276
Drink a glass of water right after waking up.
277
This is a real thing.
278
When you wake up have a big glass of water don't have a coffee for an hour.
279
Oh I definitely have a coffee, but I always I start with a glass of water same
280
But don't have coffee for an hour and you'll feel way better.
281
Nah fuck off.
282
Yeah fucking do what I want.
283
Whoa whoa And eating a balanced meal so you know no hot pots.
284
I don't eat until about at least Midday and what are you eating?
285
Go and say it baked beans today Come on, man.
286
Some chopped up bacon, a bit of grated pepper.
287
Some chilli I put in my beans and bacon.
288
What's that?
289
Hand motion.
290
That's me chopping chillies.
291
Doesn't look like it.
292
I had a, we have a loaf, a sourdough loaf.
293
Oh, yeah.
294
Chopped a little bit off that, Keezy.
295
Stick it in the toaster there.
296
A little bit of butter, a little bit of avocado.
297
Sardines.
298
My wife started getting into the sardines.
299
Oh, my God.
300
But not the cheap version.
301
These different ones in a round can.
302
Oh, the fancy ones.
303
Not the ones with a key.
304
And they're all wearing top hats.
305
They've got top hats on, that's all the sardines wearing top hats.
306
Nice.
307
We've got canes and they're swirling them around.
308
Very nice.
309
I haven't had a sardine in years.
310
Sardines and that other shit, kimchi.
311
I see as to her, I see as to her, I see as to her, I'm going to be popular in the office.
312
Kimchi rules, mate, well you'd be ripping ass, but...
313
Oh, I meant my breath.
314
And then she goes, oh yeah, it does reek and that was that.
315
Did you have all those on the one piece of bread?
316
Yeah.
317
Oh God, how...
318
It was fucking nice, bro.
319
Hey, listen to the big show, 407 Weekdays.
320
Better than what's that shit you had?
321
Radio Hodaki.
322
I had baked beans.
323
Yeah, fucking shit.
324
With chopped up bacon.
325
Straight away that's crap.
326
I fry off some bacon.
327
Nah, baked beans is shit.
328
Chuck the beans in there, pepper, white toast.
329
I love beans.
330
I would rather eat his.
331
Thank you.
332
Because I don't want to eat fish.
333
Yeah, I know.
334
Because you don't like fish, which is why you go to Japan, you goose.
335
I'm going to Japan to eat fish.
336
It's funny that you mention sardines, though.
337
Because I used to eat them all the time.
338
So did my wife.
339
She loved them.
340
They're fucking good, man.
341
Those ones are really good.
342
They're a different sort of a thing.
343
I saw, Jase, you were holding a sardine.
344
It was massive.
345
It's like one of those photos of a guy with a prize-winning fish.
346
Hey, this is the big show.
347
Four little seven weeks, Jase Radio.
348
Is that the best you've got, man?
349
Yeah, it's all I've got.

  • "We'll have a crack": Questa espressione colloquiale significa "proveremo" e è molto usata nel linguaggio quotidiano.
  • "This apple cart's been rocked a little bit": È un proverbio che significa "le cose sono state disturbate".
  • "I'm careening out of control right now": "Careening" (sbandare) è una parola vividissima che descrive la perdita di controllo.

Ecco come fare: 1. Guarda un frammento di 5-10 secondi del video. 2.
