2
Yeah?
3
Oh, uh, hi.
4
Ellie, right?
5
Right.
6
We have math class.
7
Math class at school.
8
Right.
9
What are you doing here?
10
Um, skiing?
11
Yeah.
12
No, right.
13
I mean, nice to see you here.
14
How long have you been with that church?
15
I'm new.
16
This is my first trip with them.
17
I, uh, I go to their Bible study meetings.
18
Kids are great.
19
Youth Pastor Aaron's pretty cool, too.
20
Do you believe, you know, all the stuff they teach?
21
Are you a Christian?
22
Well, yeah, probably, I guess.
23
That's serious commitment.
24
No, I mean, I believe the things in the Bible happened, but I guess I'm just not sure that's all there is to being a Christian.
25
With most of the kids, it isn't like they just believe.
26
They're changed, you know?
27
That's how I saw it happen with GOA.
28
Wait, the hall monitor at school?
29
Yeah, I used to hold that against him too.
30
But he's a really good guy when you get to know him.
31
So, I guess I'm just missing something.
32
I've read some of the Bible.
33
Yeah?
34
There's a lot there I have questions about, but...
35
Let's go, Ellie!
36
The Black Diamond Run is waiting!
37
That's my brother Carter.
38
Gotta go.
39
Wait, you ski Black Diamond?
40
I've had some lessons.
41
My instructor and my brother say, when you're ready, you'll know it.
