Hello everyone.
2
Welcome to a new episode of Beau's Slow English.
3
Before I give you an update on my life,
4
I wanted to share this delicious dessert that I found at the grocery store.
5
it's called a raw black Bottom banana cream pie.
6
It's raw.
7
So what does that mean?
8
It means that it is not cooked and there is no heat used to make this recipe.
9
It is a black bottom type cake.
10
I'm not sure why it's called black bottom cake because the very bottom as you can see from the side,
11
is not black.
12
But there is a dark layer close to the bottom, so I guess that is why it's called Black Bottom.
13
And then we have the Banana Cream Pie.
14
So there is, banana and coconut cream, a little bit of coconut sugar,
15
On top is a drizzle of chocolate.
16
It's so good.
17
Bon appetit!
18
I've decided to Move over to my dining room area.
19
I felt much more comfortable to sit down and chat with you.
20
I just quit my full time job.
21
So for the next few months,
22
I will be focusing on YouTube until I figure out what I will be doing full time again.
23
I would really like to stress the importance of saving money.
24
I am going to have a new daily routine for the next few months.
25
I am still going to wake up early around 6 :30 to 6 :40 a .m.
26
I always take my morning medication and I'm not allowed to eat anything for 30 minutes after taking the medication.
27
While I wait for my medication to settle, I make my husband's breakfast.
28
He eats a very light breakfast.
29
It's two strips of turkey bacon.
30
I cook or I fry the turkey bacon in a pan.
31
I will cook one side for about four to five minutes, then I will flip it to the other side
32
and cook for an additional four to five minutes so that it is nice and crispy.
33
My husband also likes to drink green tea or matcha specifically,
34
so I make him matcha in the morning as well.
35
Then I will take my dog out for her first morning walk.
36
She does her business outside.
37
When you hear someone say business, what they mean is the dog is going to the bathroom.
38
I will walk Nari around the block every time Nari goes outside and comes back in.
39
I will wipe her paws.
40
Now it is time to make breakfast for Nari and Louie, my cat.
41
Now it is time for me to make my breakfast.
42
I will make two to three eggs over medium which means that the yolk is a little runny,
43
but a little bit hard.
44
So it's medium.
45
Then I will sprinkle some salt and pepper.
46
and cut up the eggs before I eat it.
47
I only drink coffee one day per week or one cup per week.
48
I never crave coffee.
49
I like to do my workouts in the morning.
50
Sometimes we have cardio days which means that we are strengthening our cardiovascular system.
51
our heart.
52
Sometimes we will do strength training.
53
If I do not go to the gym, I might go to yoga.
54
or I might go to Pilates.
55
After I finish lunch, I will do the dishes and put my silverware and plate away.
56
Then I will spend about an hour and a half editing a video.
57
After my editing session, I will start to Think of what to film.
58
Today, I'm going to make meatballs in the air fryer.
59
When we cook at home, We keep it very simple.
60
It's always rice, broccoli, and some sort of protein.
61
The other day we did salmon, And today will be meatballs.
62
After I've finished all of my meetings and have eaten dinner and edited,
63
it is time to veg out or become a couch potato,
64
which basically means you sit on the couch and you don't do anything but watch TV.
65
Lately, I have been watching some Korean shows to help me to brush up on my Korean.
66
Brush up is a phrasal verb, which means that you are relearning something.
