2
Thank you.
3
the combination of going for a run
4
and then going for a dip in a cold body of water is seriously so good.
5
I remember when I had a therapist a couple years ago I told him
6
that I did a run club where we went for runs
7
and then did a cold plunge in the ocean and he was like
8

9
I feel so good right now.
10
I brought a book with me so I'm gonna read a little bit
11
and journal just because I haven't journaled in so long
12
and I feel like there's so much i want to process
13
so i'm gonna chill here for a little bit longer and soak up the sun because it's so nice out today
14
I'm going to have school work here.

21
I'm about to go on a picnic in this cute mountainous area by my home
22
and i'm super excited i packed some food and water in my book
23
and i also got this bag from ace studios
24
which is really cute and i like it
25
because it has little compartments in it where you can put different cameras
26
or honestly whatever you want i am bringing my film camera
27
and digital camera as well just
28
because i also want to get into the habit of taking more photos

33
I used to always come to this spot with my best friend from high school and it's
34
so weird how i think places are sometimes better at holding memories than we are you'll forget about something
35
and then you'll go to a place
36
and all of the memories will just flood back to you
37
and i think that's what i'm experiencing right now
38
but i'm at this spot that i always used to go to
39
and it has the most beautiful big tree with the longest roots
40
and i just feel so like held by it
41
when i sit in between its roots and it has the most beautiful view as well.
42
It's like on a cliff and you can see the ocean
43
so clearly and hear the waves and no one ever really comes to this spot
44
so it feels like my own secret oasis of tranquility and I really really love it.
45
Last summer and the summer before
46
that I kind of felt like summer had lost its magic
47
but this year it really does feel like summer for me
48
and I think it's because I've been off my phone
49
and off technology as much and trying to be more present
50
and intentional with my surroundings and my days and my days have felt
51
so much longer because of
52
that now instead of feeling my boredom with being on my phone I get to feel
53
that time with anything else whether it's having a little photo shoot
54
or picnic by yourself or going for a bike ride
55
or drawing or reading and I think life feels so much lighter
56
when you allow yourself to just not be so consumed by technology and just be in nature.
57
I forgot I had my penny board.
