It started very early in the morning.

Everyone was still tired, yawning in bed.

I was still in bed when the alarm started ringing.

My friend was sitting on the edge of the bed looking at his phone.

The sunlight was coming in through the window.

My backpack was already on the floor next to the bed.

Nobody wanted to wake up, but we wanted to leave at 8 a.m.
