Let's + verbo, Don't + verbo — sugerir ou mandar alguém fazer algo
1.Forma
O imperativo começa com a forma base do verbo e não tem sujeito (fica subentendido “you”). Negativa: Don't + forma base.

2.Para que serve

3.Como deixar mais educado
O imperativo pode soar bem direto. Para suavizar:
- Acrescente please no começo ou no final: Please wait here. / Wait here, please.
- Acrescente just para uma ação pequena e rápida: Just sign here.
- Transforme em pergunta quando for pedir um favor: Could you open the window? (veja a lição “Pedidos, ofertas e permissão”).
Com desconhecidos, colegas ou o seu chefe, prefira “Could you…?” ao imperativo — mesmo com please.
4.Let's: sugerir fazer algo juntos
Let's + forma base (= let us) convida os outros a fazer algo com você. Negativa: Let's not + forma base.
Let's go for a walk.
Vamos dar uma volta.
Let's not argue about it.
Não vamos brigar por causa disso.
5.Acrescentando you para dar ênfase
Às vezes quem fala acrescenta you para dividir tarefas ou dar ênfase: You wait here, I'll get the car. Sem um tom simpático, isso pode soar mandão.
6.Erros comuns
Not touch it!Don't touch it!
A negativa usa don't.
Don't to open the door.Don't open the door.
Não se usa to depois de don't.
Don't be worry.Don't worry.
worry é um verbo; não precisa de be.
Be not late.Don't be late.
A negativa de be também usa don't.
Let's to go.Let's go.
Forma base sem to depois de let's.
Exemplos
- Don't touch the oven. It's very hot!
- Let's go for a walk. It's a beautiful day.
- Don't forget to bring your passport tomorrow.
- Let's take a photo here!
