So how does today's listen and repeat lesson work?

We're going to be talking about 30 commonly used everyday sentences to talk about how your day at work went.

Oftentimes when you come home from work,

someone in your family might ask you this question, how was your day?

Or how was your day at work?

Well, you're going to want some sentences to talk about your day at work, right?

We're going to be talking about some ways to talk about a good day at work,

and then we'll talk about some sentences for a bad day at work,

because both of those are the reality, right?

I'm going to say the sentence and I will pause.

I want you to repeat and say the sentence exactly with me,

and then I will say the sentence again and I will pause again.

There will be a lot of pauses and repeating.

I want you to try to listen to my voice,

speak out loud during the pause,

and then try to repeat exactly while I'm speaking.

This is an excellent way to imitate the vocabulary,

the pronunciation, the sentence structure.

You can do it.

And I hope that no matter what your job is,

some of these sentences will be relevant to you.

And as an English learner, they are all relevant.
