Do modern technologies such as the metaverse, virtual reality, VR, and remote work really erase the boundaries of space and time as we might think?

Today, our group will explore this question through the topic.

Space and time are the modes of existence of matter.

Our presentation will begin with the theoretical foundations of Marxism -Leninism

and then move on to some interesting real -world applications in the digital age.

Now, let's move on to the first part.

As outlined here, space and time are not abstract, independent concepts.

They are the objective properties of matter.

Matter cannot exist outside of them.

And they cannot exist apart from matter space is the attribute of spatiality it dictates the location form size

and arrangement of matter defining how objects coexist through length width

and height on the other hand time is the attribute of duration it represents the speed

and sequence of material change governing how all natural and social processes unfold and transform over time.

Moving to our theoretical foundation, this slide highlights the modes of matter's existence.

Space and time do not exist independently, rather, they are the essential forms through which matter manifests its existence.

In today's digital era, we even see an expansion of traditional spatial boundaries.

Technologies like virtual reality, augmented reality, and the metaverse are creating multi -dimensional interactive environments.

This figital world, blending physical and virtual realities, allows people to be present,

learn, and work anywhere without being constrained by fixed geographic locations next.

Let's examine the three eternal attributes of space and time.

First is objectivity.

Space and time exist externally and completely independently of human consciousness.

We do not create them with our minds.

Second is infinity.

They have no absolute beginning and no end.

Third is their dimensional structure.

Space possesses three dimensions, length, width, and height, while time flows in a single,

irreversible dimension moving strictly from the past to the future.

This slide shows the absolute presence of matter in the physical world.

At the macro scale, galaxies move in the universe.

At the micro scale, elementary particles are also moving.

This shows that matter always exists in space and time.

Therefore, no matter exists outside space -time.

So, is technology bending the laws of matter's existence?

When we use VR, AR, or remote work, it feels like we are breaking traditional boundaries.

However, space and time aren't actually erased, only our perception of them shifts.

We are just simulating presence without physical travel.

This brings us to a cognitive paradox.

If we can seemingly teleport digitally and work asynchronously, has the classic doctrine on space and time become obsolete?

The answer is no. Looking at the physical foundation of the virtual world,

every layer, from massive physical servers and fiber optics to computer hardware and human brain impulses, is actually physical matter in motion.

They still unfold within space and take duration in time.

As our comparison matrix shows, while digital spaces move at lightning speeds compared to physical environments, objectivity still rules.

Ultimately, there would be no metaverse if the real world lost power.
