Here are 5 habits that can help you take control of your day.

Number 1.

Control Your Time-Wasting Apps Your phone can quietly consume hours without you noticing.

Social media, endless videos, notifications, and constant messaging can turn a five-minute break into an hour.

You don't have to delete everything.

Remove the apps that repeatedly steal your attention, turn off unnecessary notifications, and create specific times for checking your phone.

Your phone should be a tool, not the boss of your attention.

Number two, learn to say no. Every unnecessary commitment takes time away from something that matters.

You don't have to attend every gathering, answer every message immediately, join every conversation, or accept every request.

Before saying yes, ask yourself, does this deserve my time?

Protect your time because once it's spent, you cannot get it back.

Number three, use focused work sessions.

Try working for 25 minutes without distractions, followed by a short break.

This is commonly known as the Pomodoro technique.

During those 25 minutes, put your phone away, close unnecessary tabs and focus on one task.

After four focus sessions, take a longer break.

The goal isn't to work endlessly, it's to give your full attention to the task in front of you.

Number four, stop trying to multitask.

Doing several things at once can feel productive, but constantly switching between tasks makes it harder to maintain focus.

Instead, choose one important task, finish a meaningful portion of it, and then move to the next.

Plan tomorrow before today ends.

Before going to bed, write down the three most important things you want to accomplish the next day.

Don't create a list of 20 tasks.

Choose the three that would make the day successful if completed.

When morning comes, you won't waste your first hour wondering what to do.

It's about making sure your most valuable time goes toward what actually matters.
