1
Meg, thanks so much for helping me clean my house.
2
Yeah, no problem.
3
You were a big, big help.
4
So I want to thank you.
5
I want to repay you.
6
So tomorrow, can I take you to lunch?
7
Oh, it's too bad, but tomorrow I'll be really busy.
8
Oh, yeah?
9
Why?
10
Well, I only wash my clothes once a week, so I need to do my laundry tomorrow.
11
Oh, right.
12
Do you wash your clothes at home or at the coin laundry shop?
13
I usually wash my clothes at home because I have a washer.
14
Oh, nice.
15
Do you have a dryer too?
16
I don't have a dryer, so I have to go to the coin laundromat to dry my clothes.
17
Right.
18
So, for work, do you usually iron your clothes?
19
I usually iron my work clothes before I hang them up.
20
Oh, right.
21
You know, I never iron my clothes.
22
Really?
23
Why not?
24
I just put my clothes in the dryer
25
and then I take my clothes out of the dryer
26
when they are still hot and fold my clothes and usually they're okay.
27
I don't have to iron my shirts or pants or anything.
28
That sounds good.
29
I also have some clothes that I cannot wash at home, so I have to drop them off at the dry cleaners.
30
Oh, yeah?
31
Oh, right.
32
I use the dry cleaner sometimes.
33
Do you use the dry cleaner by the supermarket?
34
I use the one by the train station.
35
Oh, right.
36
Okay.
37
I know that one, too.
38
Yeah.
39
Well, since, you know, I want to do something for you, and I can't take you to lunch,
40
maybe I can drop off your clothes at the dry cleaners.
41
Really?
42
Will it be okay?
43
Oh, no problem, because tomorrow I have to return some movies that I rented.
44
So after I return the movies, I can take your clothes to the dry cleaners.
45
Wow, thanks.
46
While you're going to the dry cleaners, could you also mail some letters for me?
47
Sure.
48
No problem.
49
Just at the post office, right?
50
Yes, just at the post office.
51
Okay.
52
Oh, I have an idea.
53
How about this?
54
since you are busy, after I go to the dry cleaners and I drop off my movies, I buy lunch and I bring you lunch to your house.
55
Yeah, that sounds great.
56
So what would you like for lunch?
57
I can get Thai food, Chinese food, pizza.
58
Pizza sounds great.
59
Okay, I'll go to the same pizza place we use for the party.
60
It's really good.
61
Sounds great.
62
Any kind of pizza?
63
I like pepperoni pizza.
64
What do you like?
65
Oh, pepperoni is fine.
