2
It is now about 10 a.m so it's time for breakfast.
3
I was up quite early for me,
4
for me this morning because I had class at 8am.
5
I'm not a huge breakfast person.
6
Like some people love breakfast.
7
I could skip breakfast, honestly.
8
But recently I have been enjoying it.
9
I've been having French toast.
10
so that is what we are going to have first.
11
So the first thing that I do is I crack an egg into the bowl
12
and I add a dash of milk as well, just a small bit.
13
I then grab the cinnamon
14
from the cupboard so I use sweet cinnamon
15
and I just guess I guess how much to put in
16
this was quite a lot I add about a spoonful of sugar
17
and then I just whisk everything together with a fork you also call this beating I beat the mixture
18
so I mix it
19
I also use brioche so I keep it in the freezer and defrost it when I need to use it.
20
I put a small piece of butter in the frying pan
21
and then I just mix the like cinnamon toast mixture with the brioche bread
22
and I put it in the frying pan to fry.
23
I like having my french toast with strawberries
24
so I chop the top off the strawberry
25
and I slice them now it's just time to flip the french toast
26
and let it cook for a couple more minutes and and everything is done.
27
Next I just add everything together,
28
so strawberries, maple syrup and some icing sugar.
29
This was super sweet and cinnamony
30
and this is definitely my favourite breakfast to have right now and I ate it while watching YouTube,
31
watching some YouTube videos.
32
It's now quarter to 11.
33
I've just done a little bit more work but I think I'm going to head to a cafe for a while.
34
Recently I have been doing YouTube on my days off
35
so I work and I do YouTube when I have free time
36
so I want to go somewhere cute for this so I'm gonna pack my bag now
37
and we are going to go for a coffee.
38
I had some work
39
that I needed to do.
40
I needed to edit actually my last video.
41
so I went to a nearby cafe.
42
It was super quiet because it was like a Tuesday
43
so most people are at work but I ordered an iced caramel latte which is my usual drink,
44
it's my typical drink and I did some editing with this gorgeous view.
45
Hello again.
46
I just got back from coffee and I'm going to make a super quick lunch before I start working again.
47
I have some leftover rice from yesterday and I'm just gonna do like a super quick fried rice with tofu.
48
To make the fried rice I basically just used anything that I had in the fridge already.
49
So I chopped up a mushroom and the light part,
50
the lighter section of a spring onion.
51
I then put that into the frying pan with a little bit of olive oil to fry.
52
For protein, I chop a small amount of smoked tofu.
53
For the sauce, hang on.
54
I have everything else here that's going to go in the sauce.
55
So I don't know what this sauce is.
56
I always call it teriyaki.
57
It is not teriyaki.
58
Like anyone from Japan is going to be like, that's not teriyaki.
59
It's true.
60
But I'm going to just do like soy sauce.
61
I've got some sesame oil.
62
this is rice wine vinegar
63
and I have some like hot honey like chili honey I also have some garlic
64
and ginger and basically I just make the sauce with these ingredients I don't know it tastes it tastes fine
65
I just add a little bit of the leftover rice
66
and I make a huge mess and then
67
and then I just fry everything together this you know is probably not the best way to make fried rice
68
but whatever it's fine basically all of the other ingredients like the sesame oil
69
and a bit of the chili honey and the soy sauce all of
70
that goes in randomly and I just mix it up and it's fine.
71
I also had some leftover vegetables in the fridge so I just used those as well.
72
I just have the rice here with some leftover vegetables from
73
yesterday this is not the most exciting meal in the world it's not super exciting
74
but I just needed something super quick so
75
that I can carry on with my day while I eat I am going to watch some YouTube.
76
I don't know what I'm gonna watch.
77
So I just went to get my eyebrows done.
78
You probably can't tell.
79
But while I was in town I picked up some more multivitamins.
80
I am vegetarian, so naturally there are some vitamins that I don't get from my diet,
81
so I take them as extra vitamins.
82
I ran out, so I guess I'm eating these.
83
These are like vitamin gummies.
84
I just take two of these every day.
85
They are strawberry flavour and they just taste like sweets.
86
So like candy.
87
They're quite good.
88
I also just grabbed some water.
89
This is an orange and passion fruit flavoured water.
90
And I'm now going to head to the gym.
91
I have everything I need in the car.
92
So to the gym.
93
I've just been to the gym and then honestly I started to make a protein shake and I forgot to film.
94
So here I am making a protein shake.
95
I drink this one, this clear blood orange protein shake.
96
It's basically like a...
97
Woo!
98
It's like a clear, a clear protein.
99
So I'm not a big fan of like the milkshake style protein shakes.
100
I prefer this one, which is more like a squash.
101
It's like a juice almost.
102
So I do two spoonfuls of the protein powder.
103
And then I just shake it.
104
And yeah, I will have this and go take a shower and get back to work.
105
It's now the evening.
106
It's 7.20 at night.
107
I'm gonna start cooking dinner.
108
Today I'm going to make one of my like favorite foods ever.
109
It's pasta with like a creme fraiche sauce.
110
The first thing I'm doing is peeling with a peeler.
111
I'm peeling the carrot and then I'm going to cut it.
112
I'm going to dice it.
113
In English, if you read a recipe and it asks you to dice something,
114
it basically means cut it into like really small pieces.
115
This is diced.
116
Now I'm going to prepare the leek.
117
Leeks often can have like soil in them,
118
this is like dirt, earth, soil.
119
You have to wash those like carefully because they grow up.
120
And now I'm going to chop it as well.
121
I'm going to use this big frying pan.
122
Okay.
123
And now I'm going to reduce the heat.
124
While that fries, I'm going to chop some mushrooms.
125
And again, I just rough chop.
126
This is to rough chop, like not planned.
127
I just rough chop it a little bit like this.
128
Now that this has been frying for a minute or two,
129
I add the mushrooms.
130
We are going to be having this with pasta.
131
Any Italians watching?
132
With jiggly pasta.
133
is that that's not how you say it
134
so i i eat like fake meat like fake meat we
135
call it you know it's like corn well corn is the brand
136
but we often use
137
that to describe anything that's kind of like fake meat i'm
138
gonna have this with fake chicken okay i don't mind
139
if other people um eat meat it doesn't bother me um
140
i just don't eat meat myself you know i have been vegetarian for
141
eight years no less seven years i did grow up eating meat but uh one day when i turned 18
142
like it just suddenly i don't know if something in my brain developed
143
or something but it just made me feel sick and the thought of eating meat makes me feel sick.
144
Fake meat is fine so corn fine no problem but yeah
145
when I when I um when I try like I've been fed meat accidentally
146
and I literally once I know when I don't know
147
that I've eaten meat I'm fine but if I know it was meat I'm sick.
148
I don't know that's why lots of people are like why
149
are you vegetarian um that's why it makes me sick
150
and I like animals and I like vegetarian food but if you eat meat that's fine.
151
I don't and you can do whatever you want but I don't,
152
I don't eat meat.
153
The giggly, jiggly.
154
Any Italians?
155
Any Italians listening?
156
as the pasta cooks I am going to make up the sauce
157
so I add a small bit of white wine
158
and then I just add everything else so that is the creme fraiche which creme fraiche is like a slightly
159
sour cream and I add that with a little bit of lemon and some nutmeg as well.
160
A small bit of nutmeg which is a type of spice.
161
Then I just drain the pasta and I add everything together.
162
I forgot to film an outro but I just wanted to say thank you
163
so so much for watching and I will see you in the next video.
