MY DAY IN HOSPITAL // PETER LE - वीडियो के साथ अंग्रेजी बोलना सीखें

1
good morning guys it is uh 5am you know what they
2
say wake up before the sun does get up before the sun does something like
3
that we have placement today pretty busy
4
and recently i've I've been waking up at around about 5.30 just to start off my day
5
and be as productive as possible.
6
I'm gonna start off with a gym session in the morning and head straight to placement.
7
I'm on ASU, so the surgical team.
8
You can see me.
9
Wait, let me talk to you guys when you can actually see me, because it's like still .
10
All right, now that we have some light, going to go gym first.
11
Ever since waking up early, going to the gym, I feel like my day is so much more productive.
12
I got a lot more energy and I get a lot more done just
13
because I get gym done out of the way in the morning.
14
I can focus on tasks that don't require too much energy at night.
15
Whether that's studying or work.
16
So yeah, let's go to the gym.
17
all right guys we just finished the gym session you guys
18
can see me a little bit better as you You can kind of tell the sun is just starting to get up.
19
Time stamp, it is 6.30.
20
Been a good hour and a half at the gym, which was nice.
21
Got a good pump.
22
Now we're going to head to placement.
23
World rounds start at 7.15.
24
Takes about half an hour to get to the hospital.
25
So yeah, right in early.
26
Yeah, as I said before, waking up early has honestly been one of the best things that I've changed this year.
27
I used to be like a night person and I still am.
28
But there are so many benefits to waking up early.
29
Not only do you wake up early, you also...
30
I feel like you get so much done throughout the day.
31
If you wake up early and do one thing productive, like sets your day off, starts your day off, and you've already done something off your to-do list and you've got the full, like the rest of the day.
32
Particularly if you're doing something physical like going for a run, swim, gym, jog, push-up, and you feel great afterwards.
33
But you guys, let's head to the hospital. so all
34
right guys so still in ward rounds been tasked to do an mri questionnaire
35
and then i sort of need to drop off the paper
36
and then do cannula as well so i'm going to do
37
that i've been writing all of my ward round notes on
38
this device it's been a game changer it's called the iFlytech AI Note 2 I'm filming in between walking into a ward, so it's a bit awkward.
39
Alright guys, officially done for today.
40
Got a little bit of hay fever, so I need to sneeze.
41
No, I don't.
42
I'm locked in.
43
But yeah, did ward rounds.
44
Myself was able to do...
45
I need to sneeze.
46
as i was saying myself got to do and take some blurs
47
which is nice
48
and just help the team around yeah i got some news
49
my new writing tablet device was was sick i'm gonna use to like kind of consolidate on everything
50
that i saw today all the concepts and like stuff
51
that i saw but yeah gotta go home some late lunch
52
and then uh do some life admin there's still a lot of work to do
53
and i need a hateful tablet
54
because i'm dying all right guys we are home from placement
55
and before i go
56
and eat i really want to use this opportunity to just consolidate on everything
57
that i learned on placement i feel like
58
when you are able to immediately kind of like recall
59
and synthesize the information
60
that you went over after you've learned something important that's probably like the best time to revisit things
61
and check to see
62
if you like understand everything recently what i've been using is this tablet device
63
that you guys have seen me use it's the iFlytech ai note now for me personally i know
64
that possible ward placements move really fast particularly on asu
65
which i'm on right now seeing each patient is quite quick
66
and the consultant doesn't really have time to kind of like explain certain concepts due to the amount of patients
67
that are on the list to to go into theater
68
so you need to have an operation
69
that is why on the wards particularly on surgical rotations it's
70
so vital for me to be able to capture important information
71
so that i am able to go through it later
72
but also write it down on a device
73
and turn my messy writing into structured notes
74
and this is where an ai powered e-ink tablet comes in this device was pretty much specifically designed for productivity
75
and not distraction first off it is so insanely thin it's ultra thin
76
so 4.2 millimeters and super lightweight it only weighs 295 grams battery life is amazing
77
and one of the important features that i love is
78
that it's able to actually record and annotate what's happening around you
79
so for example if the consultant is explaining a difficult concept it's difficult for me to synthesize all
80
that information and write it down quickly
81
because of the dictation app on the device it will record everything
82
and it will paste it on my note document here later i can go in
83
and ask the ai to actually develop structured notes so
84
that i can go through and revisit the concepts and see
85
if i actually understand or something that is a gap in my knowledge
86
that i need to kind of delve into a little bit more now we also have teaching on placement
87
so whenever there is a lecture or a tutorial i turn on the annotation
88
and this device becomes my all-in-one reading annotation and summary device
89
and because it uses e-ink it actually feels like you're writing on paper
90
which is really unique this product literally allows me to expand my notes organize my thoughts
91
and help me connect ideas and my notes faster
92
so it feels like having like a an extra brain
93
and that's that's really nice particularly on placement there are
94
so many uses for this not only if you are student studying
95
but if you are running a business anyone that requires a device
96
that will minimize the amount of time
97
that you have this This device is essentially for anyone that needs like an AI real workflow.
98
It feels like paper.
99
There's no distractions.
100
It voice records discussions, converts information into structured notes and summarizes key points.
101
It essentially turns all the chaos that you write into clarity.
102
So what I'm going to do now guys with
103
that in mind is go through all the notes that I was able to write down.
104
All of the transcripts that this device was able to dictate and transcribe.
105
And go through the concepts that I don't have a strong grasp on.
106
For example, I don't have a really good understanding of what the pre-operative and post-operative management is for a small bowel obstruction.
107
I know generally that you need to grip and hold.
108
You may potentially need to do nearby mouth in a nasogastric tube.
109
And I also know that there's different factors that we have to take into account.
110
Such as the patient's fluid status.
111
Are they afebrile?
112
Are they renally impaired?
113
And that will obviously dictate what kind of treatment we can give them.
114
Because a lot of drugs are excreted in the urine.
115
So a lot of them are nephrotoxic.
116
But yeah, that's what I'm going to spend my time doing
117
and yeah just consolidating on everything that I've learned on placement
118
Alright guys,
119
sorry about the like disruption in missing my forehead.
120
what happened i took a quick 15 minute nap and then went
121
and played paddle unfortunately i was late
122
so i didn't actually get time to set up the gym equipment
123
but i played some paddle with some of my uni mates from med school it was really good did
124
that for about an hour time is now five
125
so yeah what i'm gonna do go home
126
and then i'm feeling pretty energized after that nap
127
so i'm gonna go for maybe a long run we'll see
128
maybe like actually i have to take yuki to the vet at 620
129
so i'll go for like a like a short 5k like
130
a like a zone 2 5k we'll take you here to the vet
131
and then go home and do some miscellaneous work
132
but i think today's been super productive very lucky
133
that i got let home early actually from placement usually finish
134
a little bit later than uh 1 30 usually have to stay back
135
when i was on gym and i was staying back to like 3 4
136
but yeah go ahead home
137
and then go for a run i love running actually you know what no i don't really like running
138
but i like what it does for my my mental fortitude yeah
139
all right now some of you guys may be wondering why
140
i'm running zone two there's like a couple reasons as to
141
why the main reason is i really want to build up my endurance
142
and because i'm doing potentially the sydney
143
and melbourne marathon at the end of the year the best
144
way to build up your i guess anaerobic endurance baseline
145
and by build up i mean like increase i don't know
146
what i'm saying in order to run longer distances at a
147
sustained pace without feeling fatigue you've got to do zone 2 training
148
because it induces endurance training i actually prefer running in like zone four zone five you feel great
149
and it's not easier to get into like a rhythm
150
and that's great for training to go fast so
151
when i'm doing running i have to switch it up between zone two we call tempo runs
152
and then it's like fast runs so
153
if you just want to get started in some running
154
and you want to build up i guess endurance find out
155
what your zone two pace is it depends on like everyone's vo2 max
156
and the max heart rate and stuff
157
but it's usually like a comfortable face like a comfortable uncomfortable
158
pace unfortunately the other benefit running in zone two is it
159
promotes fat metabolism like your body uses your fat storage as
160
energy as opposed to zone four zone five it's using carbs
161
and using like a little bit more of your like anaerobic respiratory system
162
because you're like exerting so much energy you need a lot of energy
163
and oxygen if you're anyone that wants to get into running
164
which is something that i really advocate for
165
and someone always loves finding ways that you can improve your mental
166
and physical health start with like zone two training and make sure
167
that you get adequate rest a lot of people get injured really easily not only
168
because of their form but they don't give their body enough time to actually rest
169
and recover from their runs on top of
170
that though don't feel like you need to go blazing out
171
the gates everyone has a different starting point as long as you stay consistent that's like all that matters
172
yeah i find
173
that running is more of like a mental challenge than a
174
physical challenge i used to find like running 10k 15k really really scary that's
175
because like i never ran that distance but once you actually accomplish
176
that in your mind you already know that you've been able to do it
177
so it becomes doable
178
and i think we can apply the same logic to like
179
a lot of things in our lives a lot of the
180
times your limiting factor the thing that's holding you back is your own perception of what you believe you can do.
181
Running helps you train out of that.
182
Every time you run, you question your perception of how far you can go and how tough you are.
183
Let's keep running.
184
Thank you for listening to my TED Talk.

  • Present Continuous Tense: पिटर “I am going to the gym” जैसे वाक्यों का उपयोग करते हैं, जो वर्तमान में चल रही क्रियाओं को दर्शाते हैं।
  • Future Plans: वाक्य जैसे “I’m going to head straight to placement” हमें भविष्य में योजनाओं को व्यक्त करने का तरीका सिखाते हैं, जो एक बढ़िया अभिव्यक्ति है।
  • Compound Sentences: “If you wake up early and do one thing productive”
  • Imperative Sentences: “Let’s go to the gym”
