Video consigliato

Inoltre, potrai esercitarti a usare espressioni idiomatiche come "pinch-me moment" o "step out of your comfort zone", fondamentali per parlare come un madrelingua.

Ascolta questi suoni

Nella conversazione, nota l'uso della connected speech: ad esempio, "it was" si trasforma in "it's" (pronunciato /its/) e "I've always" diventa /aɪv ˈɔːlweɪz/.

Ad esempio, ripeti "I did take every single available online test for the SAT" concentrandoti su come "did take" è pronunciato con enfasi su "did" per sottolineare il lavoro duro. Prova anche con frasi più lunghe, come "no matter what, there is no failure, because if I don't land, the worst failure is to not try": nota come "no matter what" è pronunciato velocemente e "not try" ha un accento su "try".
