Chris, you're new to Top of the Pops, but no newcomer to the band scene.

Exactly how long have you been around?

I've had a band, different bands for the past eight years.

And what sort of sound have you been making?

The same sort you make now, or has it changed?

Well, in the early days, it was rock and roll.

Did you find that for a long time you were sort of playing against what the kids wanted?

Yeah, they thought we was playing modern jazz. Is it better now?

It's the first time he's ever produced one, yeah.

It's an old Stanford Clark number of about seven, eight years ago.
