Analisando frases naturais do discurso

Vamos desmembrar algumas expressões que tornam o diálogo autêntico:

  • "You still made it": A expressão "made it" é amplamente usada em inglês coloquial para dizer que alguém conseguiu alcançar um objetivo, mesmo diante de dificuldades.
  • "Step out and bet on yourself": "Step out" significa sair da zona de conforto, e "bet on yourself" é apostar em si mesmo.
  • "Pull down the veil of appeasement": "Pull down the veil" (tirar o véu) e "appeasement" (apaziguamento) são termos mais formais, mas usados de forma natural no contexto.
