I'm
2
going to
3
go to the next video.
4
I am very much a type A person, but today I'm going to try and be more type B and not plan everything and just go with the flow.
5
Although I am very aware of the irony of planning a no plan day, but let's just give myself that.
6
Normally when I finish a to-do list, I'm then on to the next thing, but today I'm going to try and not do that and just go with the flow and do whatever I fancy.
7
I anticipate today being really cosy, maybe watching a cosy film, walks, read, that sort of a thing but I don't know so we'll see what I end up doing.
8
It would have been fully analog
9
if it weren't for the fact I wanted to leave it open to maybe watching a film
10
but I don't want to be on my phone.
11
My phone has been bricked since last night so I'm on 12 hours bricked and I'm going to leave it bricked.
12
Won't even be on it I don't think.
13
I may bring it with me if I go for a walk
14
and need navigation but I'm not going to be using it aside from that.
15
So that's my plan or not plan I should say.
16
And first thing I feel like doing is making a coffee and obviously spending time with my gorgeous cats.
17
This is Cece or Cecilia.
18
And she also goes with the flow.
19
I think she would be a type B if she was a human or maybe C.
20
Won't you Cece?
21
How do people not like cats?
22
I actually don't understand. so I'm
23
going to
24
go to the next video so so
25
I'm going to
26
go for a walk so I've got into my dungarees
27
because it's fairly warm but I will be bringing wellies
28
and a raincoat it looks like it might absolutely chuck it down
29
but I'm gonna go nonetheless where I'm going has also a pub
30
and a tea room so I'll just pop into one of those
31
if it is awful and I'll bring my book
32
which is a new read and it's a horror book
33
which is very unlike me because I hate horror films
34
but I have in my head that a horror book can't be
35
that scary um it's not really a fair test of
36
that theory because the book is more like gory horror than like um you know like atmospheric horror
37
so i will try a more atmospheric one to see
38
if i actually do get scared um it is called i
39
can't remember what it's called something of the flesh i'll give more details on the book later
40
but in essence it's about there being a virus
41
that infects all livestock um and then in the absence of having meat the world decides
42
that we need to now farm humans which is really bleak
43
and gross so yeah it's quite dark it seems
44
but I wanted to try something a little bit different
45
and I don't know maybe it's because it's autumn
46
and getting near October I thought I would try out my first horror book
47
and see what I think I'm going to take my wellies
48
downstairs they've been hiding up here in the spare room they've not been used for a long time
49
and get some thick socks because yeah I can definitely get blisters with those. so I'm
50
going to
51
go to the next video.
52
I'm
53
going
54
to go to the next video.
55
The The The The
56
I am back from the walk and I fancy making some cinnamon buns for this afternoon.
57
It takes a while, this is the M&S mix, you have to like leave them to prove for an hour and sit for another 30 minutes once you've rolled them.
58
I did make these in my last video but I got two packets so why not make another one?
59
I thought that with a cozy film could be a really nice way to spend the afternoon.
60
So if you're not interested in this recipe bit I'll put the time stamp for when this segment's over.
61
one egg, 50 grams of butter and 170 ml of milk.
62
So I've just been softening up some butter because I don't have a microwave and it was in the fridge.
63
So I'll add that first.
64
No. I don't want hair in the cinnamon buns.
65
one large egg.
66
So now adding in the milk.
67
And now we mix.
68
It does also require kneading, so it's quite intense for like what you would maybe assume would be an easy recipe,
69
but it helps a lot having everything measured out
70
but just be warned it isn't just mix and then that's it like there's kneading there's waiting
71
rolling cutting everything's mixed now
72
so I'm on the kneading stage I'm going to start kneading it in the bowl first
73
and then I'll put it onto the counter with some flour.
74
This is what it looks like at this stage for reference.
75
I think that's enough.
76
I'm not entirely sure but it is staying as a ball now and I think it's been about 10 minutes of kneading.
77
I'm going to put a
78
little bit of
79
water on the top so
80
you I'm not going to go.
81
It's clean.
82
Imagine that this exists.
83
It doesn't exist.
84
I'm not going to go.
85
I'm going to go.
86
I'm going to go.
87
just thinking about I have just finished Practical Magic.
88
That was so cozy.
89
Just what I was looking for.
90
And now I'm going to make some dinner.
91
I am stuffed, to be honest, with cinnamon bun.
92
So it'll be a light dinner.
93
I'm going to do like a Greek flatbread situation with halloumi and chickpeas. so so
94
everything's clear from dinner now i've got myself a peppermint tea candle is on and i have
95
The next thing I fancy doing, which is this Cluedo book of puzzles.
96
A set of puzzles to uncover clues.
97
It's sort of like a story, so you follow each chapter and they give you information.
98
And then you'll have a puzzle to sort out.
99
So like the first one I think is spotting the difference between two invitation cards.
100
And then that will reveal something, I think, for the next stage.
101
Or not, I'll find out. So so
102
i've had a ridiculously cozy day especially the afternoon i did six puzzles of the cludo book
103
had multiple herbal teas and then it did some reading downstairs
104
which i've now brought upstairs i'm in bed at 9 p.m
105
and yeah i think being type b for the day has been great i will say though i found
106
that the day went quicker i say that
107
and i'm in bed at 9 p.m
108
but i thought i would have had time for more stuff um
109
when i was out on my walk i didn't really have a concept of time today
110
because i wasn't on my phone much
111
but yeah on the walk i think i thought it was like midday
112
but it was actually 2pm and then I didn't end up having my lunch to have gone to.
113
I think it is good for me, I would say probably though being a type A-
114
or B-plus would be better suited to me because some planning I think helps relieve stress, like an extreme example would be when you're on holiday and it's a rainy day,
115
the type A in me would have obviously planned a rainy day plan
116
or multiple rainy day plans and then that way you don't have to spend ages researching on your rainy day, there's a backup plan already and you make the most of
117
that day like I know that's extreme
118
and doesn't relate to today I just probably would have woken up a bit earlier set an alarm in future
119
if I was to do a day like this I probably would either set an alarm
120
or if I don't plan my outing a little bit more like time wise
121
but maybe that's the problem I need to not be doing
122
that I'm going to wrap up the vlog here so thank you
123
so much for joining me today
124
and I look forward to chatting with you in the comments and I'll see you next week
