Pratica di Shadowing: I Tested Ridiculous Scams - Impara a parlare inglese con i video

1
My goal today is to investigate jobs that people typically call scams, like fortune tellers, paranormal investigators slash ghost hunters, and even the scammers in Times Square.
2
I want to ultimately try out all of these scam jobs
3
so I can give you a first -hand account of whether or not I think they're real.
4
Because honestly, the word scam is thrown around too much.
5
So what is real, what is fake, we don't know, so that is why we're going to find out.
6
So without further ado, we have a lot of jobs to investigate, so grab your popcorn and let's do this.
7
The very first scam job we're going to investigate is a paranormal investigator, otherwise known as a ghost hunter.
8
Guys, we made it to the Shanley Hotel in New York.
9
This is one of the most haunted hotels in all of America.
10
We're going to be meeting up with Scott, who is a medium and also a paranormal investigator, and we are going to go all throughout this hotel and hopefully find some ghosts.
11
Some of the really amazing paranormal stuff that has happened in here due to some of the haunted objects, like our haunted morning dress.
12
Yeah, it's really neat, right?
13
We have haunted dolls that get dropped off here all of the time.
14
So anyways, we do like actual seances in here.
15
A lot of ghost hunting happens in here.
16
People are able to rent the hotel for the night.
17
Can you just stay in a room as well? like is
18
this just a normal hotel operating yeah i mean not really
19
like people will come here to hang out like you come here to look for ghosts yeah yeah
20
and by the end of the night most people usually find something
21
that show them some kind of proof or evidence
22
that there's the paranormal happening okay kelly is here hi kelly
23
this is the owner of the shanley hotel hi nice to
24
meet you i'm sam sorry oh thank you for having us
25
we appreciate it hey ghosts they're not paranormal investigators they're just checking this place out
26
so don't scare them too much so we have a a box it's a radio
27
and all it does is scroll endlessly through am
28
or fm without stopping and the idea is that spirits can use
29
that sound to manipulate words to give us answers
30
so what we're going to do now is we're going to
31
have sam he's going to shuffle this a little bit
32
so he knows i'm not doing anything and just
33
when you're ready pick any card you want don't tell anybody
34
in the room what it is we're going to ask the spirits to tell us what it is
35
so spirits here the shamley this is sam he is going to hold the card
36
and we'd like to know if you can help us determine what
37
that card is okay
38
and you just heard i can't i can't okay can you
39
tell us what color the card is please black is it
40
a black card it's not it's not okay i got it wrong spirits all right is it a number card
41
or a face card
42
seems like should i show it
43
or something like yeah why don't you show it over to the wall
44
because i don't want to assume like you know they're magicians
45
they can like you know like you put it yeah i'd be equally impressed it's just kind of okay
46
so sam is showing the card again can you tell us i heard no yeah i heard
47
that no i don't think they want to play they're like
48
no we're not going to play why don't you diamonds diamond
49
that was a diamond it was about it is diamonds okay
50
that was clear as a man said thank you for saying diamond can you tell us the number Yeah, I feel like I heard that again.
51
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
52
It's a three?
53
Well, it is a three.
54
It's a three of diamonds.
55
Yeah.
56
As soon as, yeah, I guess as soon as I kind of showed it at first.
57
So it's funny, right?
58
Like they have eyes.
59
Like they need to see it, right?
60
So that was really interesting to have that.
61
Yeah.
62
If you don't mind doing that, we can do that or we can go into the creepy basement.
63
Let's see the creepy basement.
64
Creepy basement it is.
65
Let's go.
66
That's the creepy basement.
67
I like the sound of that.
68
All right, going to the basement now.
69
So we just played cards with some of the ghosts.
70
They were super nice to kind of communicate with us and let me know what my card was, which they did get right They certainly got the three and then I think diamonds was picked up as well.
71
Yeah, we're heading to the creepy basement now So let's do it Scott.
72
This is the basement, right?
73
And Basements are creepy enough But what if I told you
74
that during the hotel's time operating that they stored dead bodies down here during the winter?
75
So you're saying this is where they store the bodies in the winter and it was too cold to bury them, right?
76
Yeah, so before they had tractors to dig up the ground did it by hand, right?
77
Mm -hmm.
78
So if somebody passed away in the winter
79
when the ground is permafrost the hotel was nice enough to store your Relative
80
or loved one in here until the spring came
81
when you could inter them properly
82
So what we're gonna do next is we're gonna use another piece of equipment a phone app, which not everybody likes not for everybody We're gonna use it We're gonna see what kind of results we get
83
and we're gonna see if we can get any of the spirits down here to talk to us Okay, oddly enough we get a lot of children down here Sometimes the children talk back
84
so we're gonna see if we can have any of that happen.
85
You guys excited for that?
86
I hope so.
87
I'm very excited.
88
I don't know if anyone's sitting in there, but hello if so That's the way to be, Sam.
89
I think Sam might have a future in this.
90
Hello to all the spirits down here in the basement.
91
How are you doing tonight?
92
Can you tell us how many spirits are down here with us tonight?
93
50. What did he say?
94
It sounded like 50.
95
That seems like a lot.
96
Who is the predominant spirit down here with us right now?
97
Emperor.
98
Is your name Hadley?
99
Amberson.
100
Emperor?
101
It's hard to say.
102
I thought it said Amber.
103
I heard Amber.
104
Yeah, I heard Amber.
105
Oh, Amber.
106
Yeah, Amber sounds good flashlight just went on when i asked
107
that oh so as you can see there's a bunch of toys over here
108
so i just heard something about bright
109
and i think they're talking about your life can we turn
110
the lights down a little bit guys can you turn off that flashlight for us please if that was you
111
thank you wow dude that's great that is crazy Thank you.
112
Thank you for turning off the light.
113
Amber, how old are you?
114
Yep, they're videoing.
115
Exactly.
116
Exactly.
117
Exactly.
118
They're warming up to you, man.
119
Yeah.
120
Or if we ask...
121
Oh, there it is again.
122
Flashback on.
123
Thank you.
124
That's like really rudimentary ghost hunting the flashlight, but they're really good at using it, so...
125
Maybe because the flashlight during the era in which they existed was something that they could easily interact with.
126
Pushing around.
127
Pushing it around.
128
It's easier for them to manipulate.
129
Dude.
130
They said pushing it around and then they're turning it off again all right
131
So I'm about to go into the portal
132
and I'm going to put on these noise canceling headphones I'm
133
going to listen through the radio frequencies to try to pick up on any sounds
134
or any sort of words I could pick up on
135
because Scott is going to be prompting with different questions
136
and stuff And I'm just gonna be hopefully saying the correct answers
137
if it comes through here So this is the portal
138
so this is where ghosts move freely in and out to the spirits
139
that are here in the portal This is Sam and he'd like to know what's your name government?
140
Do you work for the government?
141
Able.
142
So it sounds like they might have been able to, or they did.
143
Can you tell me what you did for the government?
144
Missouri?
145
Democrat?
146
A lot of political talk here.
147
A lot of political talk.
148
That's very interesting.
149
Can you tell us what about the government or what about politics you want to talk about?
150
Devil?
151
Eyes?
152
That's creepy.
153
All right, here we go.
154
Part two.
155
These are official noise -canceling ones, and I mean, these are certain...
156
Like, I couldn't hear anything before, but now I definitely won't be able to hear anything.
157
We're going to start again with a different frequency.
158
I'm telling you, he's a natural at this.
159
He gets it
160
so spirits in the portal we're looking to make communication with
161
any of you i think you know me i'm scott
162
and this is our new friend sam you're going i'm not
163
going anywhere where do you want me to go i told you
164
if you say the word leave we'll just leave anna that's
165
one of the names of the spirits in the hotel does anna want sam to visit sam teen goofy
166
if we bring sam upstairs does he have to pay you
167
that was a lot of really good responses if you want it if you want it listening Sam is listening.
168
Yeah, tell him upstairs.
169
Shut it.
170
Is there anybody else in here?
171
Can you say your name?
172
Communist.
173
This is weird because that's another political reference and he's listening to a completely different machine.
174
Can you tell us why there's so much government talk?
175
Speak. Is he?
176
Exactly.
177
Sounds like people are talking back and forth and we're just listening.
178
Come upstairs.
179
That's what we were waiting for.
180
So I think what we should do is, the time we have left is take Sam out of here and bring him upstairs where Anna is.
181
See how much she likes them.
182
All right.
183
I mean, I was definitely hearing more with those is coming through pretty clearly
184
So Anna is one of the ladies of the night She resides up in the Bordello
185
and I repeatedly said if you she said your name by the way You said your own yeah, we're now heading up.
186
What did the Bordello?
187
Yeah We're gonna head up to the Bordello where the ladies
188
of the night are ladies of the night Anna who I
189
I guess I interacted with there She said come upstairs actually heard that through there.
190
We're gonna go upstairs right now This is the Bordello.
191
So we're about to head up right now.
192
Yep.
193
Let's do it.
194
All right So here's Anna's room right here, right?
195
That's her.
196
Yeah, Anna, Rosie, Maddie.
197
Those are the big three here.
198
How old is Anna?
199
27. 27, okay.
200
So we're peers.
201
Yeah, and she really likes gentlemen just like you.
202
So you are like her target demographic.
203
He's got a crush, you think?
204
Yeah, big time.
205
Basically, what we're going to do is same thing.
206
We're going to let Sam sit here.
207
Again, I'm going to speak lightly to the cameras, and hopefully you'll come up with some really cool responses for us.
208
Okay.
209
Okay, so Anna, you said your name, you said Sam's name, and you said come upstairs stairs.
210
I've delivered this gentleman to you.
211
Can you say hello to him?
212
Thank you.
213
You're very welcome.
214
Would you like us to leave you alone with him?
215
Please.
216
Would you like to be friends with him?
217
Yeah.
218
That was an immediate response.
219
Yes, again.
220
I was going to say, do you want to be more than friends?
221
Leave.
222
Do you want me to leave?
223
Alone.
224
Oh, you want to be alone with Sam.
225
Okay.
226
Me.
227
Is that what you want?
228
You want to be alone with him?
229
Just for the record, as this is happening, I feel like my chest is getting like pressed on, like as if a woman was being like, get out.
230
I need private time.
231
Leave again.
232
What happens if we leave Sam in here alone?
233
What will you do?
234
Sam.
235
Okay.
236
Sam is here.
237
We brought him for you.
238
Do you have anything you want?
239
That's him.
240
It sounds like there's more people talking that he's listening to and they're all talking about it.
241
I feel like I'm getting touched on my elbow.
242
I got all tingles right here.
243
Is there anything else you want to say, Hannah?
244
You here now?
245
Yeah.
246
No. Okay.
247
I heard that.
248
Yeah, there's some strange clicking.
249
I thought it was a jukebox.
250
We're gonna end the session with Sam.
251
Can you say goodbye?
252
Anna?
253
Get on the bed.
254
You want me to get on the bed?
255
All right, I'll sit down next to Sam real quick, but this is a weird thing.
256
What else do you want us to do?
257
Thank you.
258
You're welcome.
259
Thank you for talking with us.
260
Obviously, I couldn't hear anything, but I feel like I was saying certain things that, at least in my narrative, I was building from that.
261
Felt like directionally, there was something.
262
Very cool experience.
263
Thank you again, Scott.
264
I appreciate it.
265
This is awesome.
266
Yeah.
267
Thank you.
268
Sam, awesome.
269
Thank you so much.
270
All right, guys, not going to lie, that was a very fun experience.
271
Scott is awesome, so shout out to Scott.
272
He's a really cool ghost hunter.
273
I mean, And overall, I'm not like a big believer in the ghost hunting and paranormal world.
274
But with that being said, I did have a fun time.
275
And honestly, I could be convinced that certain things were happening there.
276
So I think at the very least, it's very entertaining to be a part of.
277
I kind of viewed it more as entertainment.
278
And would I do it again?
279
Absolutely.
280
Do I think it's legitimate?
281
I mean, I don't know.
282
I definitely need more experience in order for me to give a really full opinion.
283
But at the Shanley Hotel, there's certainly some stuff going on.
284
So definitely some creepy haunted vibes.
285
And I think there's narratives to be formed there.
286
So I had fun.
287
Shout out to Scott.
288
Not a scam.
289
Let's do the next one.
290
The next jobs we're going to investigate are in New York City, because we're going to Times Square and interacting with actual scammers, like the people who take pictures with you and then charge you money,
291
the people who hopefully give out CDs or some sort of fake items trying to get you to buy them, and then even engaging in some of the fake products
292
that are sold in Times Square that you're buying them thinking they're real and they end up being rip -offs.
293
for the picture mini thank you as you can see i just took a picture with mini mouse
294
and i think mickey mouse tried to get his way into the picture to actually i think scam
295
because he would probably look for a five dollar tip as well
296
but what i did like is
297
that she did say donation in exchange for a picture
298
so not as scammy as it used to be they used to just take the picture
299
and then tell you that it was five dollars so
300
so far so good let's try to find some more scammers oh look they're Trying to take a picture.
301
Starting to inch close to me.
302
Ah, nothing.
303
I think they know if we got the camera.
304
I don't think anybody else wants to take a picture of me.
305
So let's move on to the next scammers.
306
Statue of Liberty.
307
I don't know if this is a scammer, but I see a statue of Liberty.
308
So I don't know if they're selling something or what.
309
Now to be scammed, I feel like they have to come up to me in order for it to qualify.
310
So if somebody comes up to me, we'll count it.
311
Otherwise it doesn't count.
312
There's a lot of vendors in New York City off the side that sell things like art, clothes, fake purses, et cetera and i see a labubu seller
313
so i'm gonna go ahead and purchase a labubu and see whether
314
or not it's real
315
so labubus generally go for like 40 to 50 bucks depending on whether it's rare
316
or not but the ones behind me are going for 15 bucks
317
and there's some pretty rare ones there's a lot of fake labubus floating around
318
so i want to see if this one's real
319
so i'm gonna go ahead
320
and purchase one can i get one labubu stitch yeah just grab whichever one you want
321
which one you want let me get this one right here all right
322
that one okay thank you got my labubu right here this is what the packaging looks like
323
so a little bit damaged but we're gonna open it up
324
and see if it's real I'm going to open it up and let's check it out.
325
It looks pretty fake, honestly.
326
Looks like a Chinese knockoff.
327
I'm not an owner of a Labubu, so I can't say for sure whether it's real or not.
328
This is the packaging it comes in.
329
Please don't tell me I paid $15 for a Timu Labubu.
330
Is my Labubu real?
331
He doesn't even have the smile.
332
Isn't he supposed to have that smile?
333
Oh, I guess not.
334
I genuinely don't know if this is real or not.
335
It's inconclusive whether or not that person was a scammer because I don't actually have the details.
336
Here, somebody who's a Labubu expert, let me know if this is real or fake.
337
I scout a guy who's selling Apple products.
338
I don't know if they're legitimate or not.
339
I don't know if they're stolen.
340
I'm not sure what's up with it, but I'm going to go ahead and purchase something.
341
See ultimately if it's a real item or not.
342
Oh, he shied away from the camera, which means that it might not be legitimate.
343
We're going to go back.
344
We'll circle back.
345
So he has a black garbage bag and then he's pulling different Apple products out of it.
346
So I ideally want to buy something from there.
347
We'll see whether or not he's willing to talk to me because I have a camera.
348
All right, guys.
349
I mean, we tried our hearts to try to purchase some of these secondhand Apple products from these scammers.
350
But once they saw the camera, they identified me by my pink hat and then they just ran away.
351
They wouldn't go anywhere near me.
352
Even when I dropped the camera, I tried to film with my Meta glasses, but they wouldn't have any of it.
353
So unfortunately, I couldn't buy anything, but that almost confirms that they're scammers.
354
I've never seen people run away so much as I did with these people.
355
Literally, as I'm making this video though, luckily, Tyler Liviera, another YouTuber, actually made a video exposing New York City scammers and he interacted with these Apple people.
356
I think it's actually the same exact person in his video as it is in my video.
357
So I highly suggest looking at that
358
so you get the full picture of what these people are all about But with that being said in new york, there's definitely some scams
359
But I think some of them aren't really scammers next up
360
I invited a fortune teller to come over to my house
361
and she is going to perform on me some sort of
362
fortune telling I suppose i've never had a fortune teller speak
363
to me before i've never had somebody read my palms I am going in completely raw.
364
I'm a virgin and novice of the psychic game So these are my palms.
365
These are what my lines look like.
366
This is my face I am an open book
367
and I am excited to be read
368
and we're meeting up with one of the best fortune tellers in new jersey Apparently
369
and her name is gypsy so this should be a good time.
370
So How would you like your palm read?
371
There's different ways to do it.
372
No, you just show me your hands.
373
Oh well You cannot be suffocated.
374
I can't be suffocated.
375
What does that mean?
376
That means that you need to be able to go places and move around a lot.
377
Wow Because you can't because it would be toxic for you.
378
Really?
379
Yeah, you're very independent
380
and you're very very creative you can do anything you really
381
want to as long as you have the passion for it wow let me show my hands just
382
so they also have see these hands these are creative hands
383
independent hands i see you're gonna have a nice long life
384
okay we have any predictions i would say i would i
385
would say in the 90s maybe even more oh you think i could touch 100 Maybe, maybe, you know,
386
with today's technology in five years now who knows i see
387
a lot of traveling yeah that's right i do travel quite a lot i travel quite a lot
388
and i see that you're going to be traveling till you can't travel no more probably yeah
389
so now i'm going to say
390
that we're going to go into a little bit of astrology okay
391
so you had told me when we first walked in uh
392
that you were a gemini because i asked you yep the gemini is ruled by the planet
393
mercury which is all about knowledge so
394
that really is important to you knowledge very yeah you like
395
to share it as well as give it being a gemini you are a perfectionist for sure i'd say
396
so yeah so you can do anything
397
and it will look like you've been doing it for years the way you perform is very professional
398
and that's the being perfectionist but you got to know that you're doing a great job no matter what you're doing.
399
And pat yourself on the back once in a while.
400
Yes, because sometimes, you know, you can be hard on yourself.
401
Right.
402
And there's no need for that, because you're perfect.
403
Thank you.
404
That's very sweet, thank you.
405
And I also worked for Donald Trump.
406
Oh, that's cool, wow.
407
Got you a president.
408
Yeah, yeah, well, that's before he became president.
409
But that was really fun, because he hired me several times.
410
Mm -hmm one at his Benminster golf course and Did you predict he was gonna be president?
411
Could you read that from like oh?
412
He wouldn't go no no. He didn't come near me.
413
Oh, he was okay He just pointed at me and said ah, but I was doing all his guests Okay, you have any questions?
414
No, I mean obviously conscious of time
415
and stuff I think it'd be great to take a look at this crystal ball
416
and you kind of showcase what this is about and what we do here Well, Crystal Ball, really, I have to inspire me.
417
And when I look into it, I could actually see that in a couple of years, you're going to be, there's going to be major changes for you.
418
Oh, you've already, you're seeing that right now?
419
Oh, wow.
420
Okay.
421
So you're already making a reading.
422
So in a couple of years, there's going to be major changes for me?
423
Yeah.
424
Like, are we talking upwards?
425
We're talking up.
426
Oh, good.
427
Okay.
428
So right now, I think I'm at 10 .5 million subscribers on YouTube.
429
If you had to make a prediction of, let's say, two years from now, where do you see me at?
430
I'm going to say a lot.
431
A double.
432
Double.
433
So we'll be at 20.
434
That would be a double clip rate.
435
That would be crazy.
436
But you're saying right here, 20 million August of 2027.
437
Yes.
438
Okay.
439
And then you're going to really be busy.
440
Then I'll be incredibly busy, yeah.
441
Well, thank you so much.
442
Thank you.
443
Thank you again to Gypsy.
444
Thank you so much.
445
Appreciate the reading and you just coming through
446
and showing us the side of fortune telling and palm reading
447
and just everything else we kind of went into all right
448
so gypsy was awesome I had a lot of fun with
449
her over those 30 minutes of doing my fortune telling session do I think it's a complete realistic thing in
450
which she's reading my future and telling me what's going on with me
451
and knows everything about me no I think there's a lot of horoscopic astrology things
452
that are happening and she's making a lot of good predictions
453
but I don't necessarily think that the crystal ball
454
and the whole palm reading thing is necessarily true but
455
if you're just viewing it at face value
456
and you're not taking it seriously as a science it is a lot of fun to engage with
457
And so for that reason, I'm gonna call it a semi -scam.
458
I think Gypsy is very well -read and she knows a lot about the practice of fortune -telling, but for me, it wasn't necessarily the craziest thing I've experienced.
459
So take with that what you will, but we have way more jobs to investigate.
460
The next job that people call a scam that we're gonna be looking into is chiropractors.
461
So if you've never heard of chiropractors, they practice chiropractic, which is basically alternative medicine in which you manipulate the musculoskeletal system to ultimately relieve people of pain, namely in their spine.
462
So if you've ever seen videos of people adjusting spines and getting all those cracks and kinks out of their back, that's usually a chiropractor performing that and they get a lot of pushback
463
because the pseudoscience associated with it a lot of people don't consider this to be real medicine
464
but lucky me a couple of months ago
465
when i was at this biohack facility in fort lauderdale for another video
466
that i did i got to speak to two renowned chiropractors
467
who really wanted to do something to me i let them
468
and this is what happened
469
so we're going to do an examination sam has some neck pain
470
and we want to see where that's coming from he's kind of pointed to his trapezius muscles
471
but we're going to really do some palpation and examination
472
and really figure out what the deal is where it's really coming from all right
473
so we're going to assess my pain now
474
so i'm going to lay down okay close your eyes okay
475
and without open eyes look on the top of your head this is mobilization of your occipital
476
and c1 c0 you feel more flexible i'm not gonna lie it was very uncomfortable to be in the room
477
because despite them being husband and wife
478
and both being doctors they actually had opposing views on things
479
which led to a lot of weird moments no solar plexus
480
is a nerve plexus here what is it timers it's not
481
timeless anymore no no no no nonetheless though i tried to
482
be a pleasant patient i was going through with everything they were saying
483
but a lot of it just didn't really make sense to me.
484
So it's interesting that the chakra system corresponds to nerve plexuses.
485
There's one in the throat and there's one in the center of the chest, the heart chakra and the throat chakra.
486
At one point they wanted to inject me with something into my neck
487
but ultimately I told them no. I gave them the justification
488
that I couldn't do it because I couldn't get it on camera
489
but really I just didn't want it to be done to me.
490
I mean I came in for an adjustment
491
and all of a sudden there's a needle that's about to go into my neck.
492
The blue it's a throat chakra the nerve plexus it's green
493
yellow it's epigastric all right i'm gonna let this process continue
494
i'm not i don't have to keep my hands they're gonna balance on their own
495
but i didn't expect to go in this direction
496
but that's where you know that's where my palpation took me this conversation was honestly going everywhere
497
and i didn't understand anything that was happening
498
and i certainly didn't feel any sort of relief by any of the tension points
499
that they were touching but there was just a lot of nonsense going on
500
so with that being said is chiropractic a scam i mean what I experienced, I would actually say yes.
501
Overall, who knows?
502
But I haven't heard good things, and when I actually tried it in practice, it wasn't very good either.
503
So I'm going to go ahead and call it a scam from my experience.
504
I'm sure people have had pleasant experiences and relieved them of back pain, but from what I had, because I also had really bad neck pain going into that, they didn't relieve anything at all,
505
and if anything, it was probably one of the worst experiences medically that I had.
506
Everyone else at that biohack facility was awesome, and I appreciate all the different treatments, but that one in particular just wasn't it.
507
The next scam job that we're going to investigate is life coaches.
508
So a life coach is somebody who basically kind of acts like a quasi therapist
509
and they basically get you through certain parts of your life.
510
So if you want to get your money up, if you want to improve your relationships, whatever it may be, life coaches are apparently the one stop shop to fix everything.
511
We're going to see if that's true though, because I have Luke Mendez, who on Fiverr has five stars on 21 reviews.
512
He is one of the highest rated life coaches I could find.
513
He's board certified and everything seems to have ample experience, looks like a nice professional guy.
514
Also, by the way, it's like 1 .15 a .m right now.
515
And for whatever reason, he answered and he's able to accommodate my call.
516
So shout out for that.
517
But we're going to hop on a call with him right now
518
and we're going to decide whether or not life coaches are a scam.
519
Not going to lie, I am not too optimistic about this.
520
I personally have a bias going in that I think life coaches are going to be a complete scam.
521
So let's see what happens.
522
Hi, how are you?
523
Hi, thank you for hopping on the call.
524
Excuse me about my outfit oh no worries yeah no no
525
sorry for my outfit too it's late for us i'm sure
526
no it's okay it's okay the idea of life coaching is like to map out where are you
527
and where do you want to be what's on your mind
528
now i'd say on my mind um work for sure i want to get more money that's important
529
and i ideally want to just continue growing in my career trajectory what is blocking you from
530
or preventing you from doing
531
that you know it's hard to really pinpoint i think maybe it's I get too distracted
532
and I like doing other things sometimes
533
so I can't stay focused on what I want to do
534
let's say how do you describe this um lack of focus
535
right I think it's jumping from one ship to another
536
so I'll have a couple of days where I really like to focus
537
and do well and then three days in I'll just start focusing on something else
538
because I don't know it's just more attractive
539
so I'm like oh let me now focus on that
540
and then I side rail myself and I lose the direction and the path that I was on.
541
It's quite a lot because most of the people tend to say, no, no, I cannot focus for an hour.
542
Do you need more than three days?
543
I'd like to be locked in for like a month at a time.
544
I'd love to have longer term lock -ins.
545
Yeah.
546
Okay.
547
Have you achieved that sometime in the past?
548
Maybe once in a while.
549
Yeah, sometimes.
550
What happened during that month that the last time you achieved that?
551
So I was picking up a lot of extra shifts at my job
552
and And I just remembered I was in like a flow state where I was like waking up.
553
I was going on walks.
554
I would go for, I'd go to my job, I'd come back and I'd be just feeling great.
555
Which was the trigger that made you, that motivates you?
556
I think it's when I recognize that I've fallen so far.
557
I'm good at identifying the bottom and then I'm able to pull back up.
558
So it's like, let's say I eat a lot of food over two weeks and I gain five pounds.
559
As soon as I gain that five pounds, I like correct.
560
And I'm like, okay, let's like lose the five pounds, but I'll never gain more than five pounds.
561
But I get there a lot, but I never go past it.
562
You have a bottle line and you can set a limit, right?
563
Yep.
564
Maybe not, not only in weight, but in everything.
565
Will that work for you?
566
Yeah, that's it.
567
I mean, like if I think of work, I have a minimum amount of money that I have to make every month.
568
And if I, as long as I'm making that, it's fine
569
but the moment where I'm trending to go a little bit
570
below then I'm like okay let's snap back into it I have to go to work more okay
571
and that work for you so like
572
that may be a key like to to have a have
573
it clear maybe I don't know post it on there on the wall somehow
574
so you can clearly see where you are now
575
so yeah I like the idea of kind of writing down and visualize
576
so all the different aspects of my life establishing the system of like what are the minimum limits
577
that I need to achieve in order to feel productive at each of these parts of my life
578
so let's say it's financial like i said like weight wise
579
or activity level or something and i'll go through all the different ones
580
and then i can okay ensure
581
that none of those parts ever dip below everything will go up
582
if i'm ensuring that i'm never dipping below at any point in my life
583
because then it's like oh okay we're we're starting to manage things correctly in the system now
584
so that's how do you feel this is great i feel
585
like within just a 20 minute session i was able to learn a bit about certain systems
586
and how to think about the things that i'm going through
587
so i mean i really appreciate this first session
588
and i'd love to follow up with you have a nice day thank you i really appreciate it thank you
589
so much all right i just finished my session i'm not gonna lie i feel really great after
590
that i think luke mendez did an absolutely great job of kind of working with what he had
591
which was nothing i was just kind of like saying random
592
stuff i wasn't gonna give him like the full synopsis
593
that i'm a youtuber
594
but he did a really great job honestly shout out to
595
luke mendez i went into this thinking life coaches were a complete scam i'm going out of it thinking
596
that there are some really good life coaches he did a
597
good job of not like overstepping with certain questions he didn't
598
even ask where i worked mind you he was just like hey let's develop some systems
599
so then you can achieve what you want to achieve i am very pleased with
600
that life coaches is a big surprise here i'm gonna go ahead
601
and say not a scam based on my experience at least luke did a great job
602
so shout out to him i really thought
603
that there was going to be a massive scam stamp right here after life coach but I guess I'm pleasantly surprised.
604
All right, guys, that was a lot of fun going through a bunch of these different scam jobs.
605
A lot of them ended up being pretty legitimate.
606
Some of them, not so much.
607
But with that being said, thank you guys so much for watching.
