1
Hi everyone!
2
Welcome back to another shadowing practice with me, Claire, a native speaker from the United States.
3
This is a part two shadowing practice, so if you haven't completed part one yet, be sure to complete that practice first.
4
I will link it here.
5
I didn't originally plan for this one to be two parts, but I ran into some technical difficulties when I recorded this story for the first time.
6
So part one has the first half of this story and now I'm bringing you part two,
7
and you'll find out how our story ends and complete your swift shadowing practice.
8
So again, I'm going to repeat every phrase twice, but the first time I say it, you are just going to listen,
9
and the second time I say it, you are going to shadow me.
10
So you're going to say it at the exact same time as me, matching exactly how I said it the first time when you were listening.
11
So in this way you're going to work on your pronunciation and your overall fluency of the English language by matching me, a native speaker.
12
And of course I will be speaking with an American accent.
13
So with this video you'll be shadowing a standard American accent.
14
All right let's go ahead and complete our story.
15
Here's part two of your 10-minute shadowing practice.
