Gramática & Expressões no Contexto

  • "To say the last few weeks have changed my life would be an understatement." - Aqui, o uso de “would be” indica uma condição, além de mostrar a habilidade de expressar pensamentos pessoais de forma clara.
  • "Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be one of two things."
  • "At some point, I literally was not even going to upload that first episode." - A forma "was not even going to" é útil para descrever intenções não realizadas, uma estrutura comum na conversação.
  • "I took breaks, I tried different careers, I wanted to quit about 50 times."
