Hello, everyone.

Today, I would like to talk about life in the countryside.

Last summer, I visited my uncle's village in Bokjang Province.

It was a small but very beautiful village.

The scenery there was picturesque, with green paddy fields, tall trees, small rivers, and fresh air.

The local people were very hospitable, kind and friendly to visitors.

I went there during harvest time, so the farmers were very busy.

Some people were harvesting rice in the fields.

They used a combine harvester to cut and gather the crops more quickly.

After that, they loaded the rice onto a truck and dried it in the sun.

Other villagers were plowing fields, milking cows, feeding pigs, and catching fish in nearby ponds.

I think people in the countryside work harder than people in the city.

They often get up earlier and work more carefully on the farm.

However, life there seems to move more slowly and peacefully than life in the city.

Children can play more freely and people usually spend more time talking to each other.

In the evening, I joined the village children in some traditional games.

We played bamboo dancing and dragon snake.

They danced more beautifully than I did, but they helped me a lot.

I felt very happy because I made many new friends.

In my opinion, life in the countryside is simple, peaceful, and healthy.

I like the fresh air, the beautiful scenery, and the friendly people there.

Although farmers work very hard, they seem to live happily.

I hope I can visit the countryside again one day.
