We're going to have it this week over Pasen.

A important holiday here in the Netherlands.

But we're going to have it also over a nice, nice Sunday.

Of course everyone's not a Pasen...

But for most people is it a nice excuse for a stupid weekend.

And one of the most important things during the weekend is the brunch or the paas-bunch.

And for this you can buy in the supermarket all kinds of things.

Which things are popular?

I think of course, eitjes.

They are popular with eggs, eggs, an omelet.

People also have croissants on the table.

Or maybe the standard bread.

But maybe you do this year a bit more luxury and you go to the backer...

...to get some fresh bread.

Other things that are always on the table are yogurt with crusty, rice, ham, butter, and of course, pindakaas.

And one other thing that is most of the table is a paas-bunch.

This is a big bread with rosin in it, often a little bit of amandels, a little bit of sugar and a little spice in the bread.

This is mainly good to combine with a little bit of butter.

It is very sweet, but it is also very good, so you don't eat too much.

For me, a perfect, silly Sunday means that I can read the whole day, eat and drink what else to eat and just sit on the bank, especially if it's not good.
