Let's talk about the fastest way to get rid of acne.
2
If you have acne, you are going to be happy that you found this video.
3
All it takes is the correct knowledge.
4
Now, when I was, I think,
5
seventh grade, eighth grade, I had severe acne.
6
And talk about devastating someone's confidence.
7
I mean, it's already hard enough to be a teenager,
8
but to have acne on top of being an awkward teenager, devastating.
9
Remember I was in sixth grade, had no acne, right?
10
I didn't even like girls.
11
And then all of a sudden in seventh grade,
12
I started liking girls, but I had acne and that persisted in eighth grade,
13
ninth grade, 10th grade, 11th grade.
14
So it was, it can be very devastating.
15
So I really wish I knew what I know now back then it would have came in handy.
16
All I knew back then was to keep washing your face using creams,
17
even though it didn't work.
18
And we just keep trying it over and over and over.
19
Here's the big problem.
20
If we actually do a search on acne,
21
let's take something that's very credible, right?
22
Wikipedia, right?
23
I'm being very sarcastic.
24
Let's see what Wikipedia says about acne here.
25
Acne is a long-term skin condition that occurs when dead skin cells and oil from your skin clog your hair follicles.
26
The resulting appearance can lead to anxiety,
27
reduced self-esteem, and extreme cases depression or even thoughts of suicide.
28
But check this out.
29
Susceptibility to acne is primarily genetics in 80% of cases.
30
Now, notice that they said susceptibility to acne.
31
They didn't say acne.
32
That is because there's something way more powerful than your genetics,
33
and that's called epigenetics, which I'm going to get into.
34
It says the rules of diet and cigarette smoking in the condition are unclear,
35
and neither cleanliness nor exposure to sunlight appear to play a part.
36
Eating fewer simple carbohydrates such as sugar may minimize the condition.
37
Okay.
38
So that's, at least they mentioned that.
39
All right.
40
And then they get into the causes of possible secondary contributors include hormones,
41
infections, diet, and stress.
42
All right.
43
And then we get to diet.
44
It says high glycemic low diets have been found to have different degrees of effect on acne severity.
45
So one of the studies that they mentioned, diet and acne update.
46
Carbohydrates emerge as the main culprit.
47
Of course, they're not going to emphasize that.
48
And then they go right into multiple randomized control trials
49
and non-randomized studies have found a lower glycemic load diet to be effective in reducing acne.
50
So the rest of this page is just more confusion,
51
more information that doesn't really tell you
52
or differentiate the important stuff from the trivial stuff to the stuff that's completely and utterly false.
53
So no wonder why people have a hard time finding answers.
54
So if we take a look at acne,
55
what it is, we have an infection of a sebaceous gland.
56
Okay.
57
A sebaceous gland is the oil glands in your skin.
58
And so this is why you have redness.
59
That's inflammation.
60
You have many times a white pustule,
61
which is an infection, which has bacteria and white blood cells.
62
And you're looking at your acne going,
63
wow, I need to pop that zip, right?
64
And then clean it out.
65
and then it'll go away,
66
but it never goes away.
67
It comes back.
68
It turns into a scar.
69
Okay.
70
Now you have a pockmark and it keeps coming back.
71
So what is behind this infection of the sebaceous gland?
72
And the answer is a hormone called androgens.
73
Your androgens are too high.
74
I mean, think about what happens during puberty.
75
You have this shift of androgens, right?
76
Mostly in men.
77
It's also a spike in girls as well, okay?
78
But they also have a spike in estrogen,
79
which can also trigger acne as well.
80
So is the problem just puberty and everyone has to go through it?
81
Or is there something we can do?
82
Well, there's some extra data about androgens that I wanna talk about that's gonna help you isolate what's really going on.
83
But I'm gonna recommend that you stop popping your zits,
84
okay, because that's gonna just create more of an infection.
85
It's gonna create more redness,
86
more inflammation, and more scarring, okay?
87
And it's very difficult to get rid of old scars.
88
There's things you can do,
89
but it's not the easiest thing in the world to do.
90
And the scars just are more permanent, okay?
91
So we don't want to pop the zits.
92
We want to find the underlying cause.
93
So what are all the things that can cause an increase in androgens?
94
Well, there's a protein in your liver, okay?
95
There's a certain protein.
96
I don't wanna give you the long name,
97
but the acronym is SHBG.
98
This protein helps you bind both estrogen and testosterone.
99
If you have enough of this protein,
100
it keeps these two hormones locked up and in the inactive form
101
because if you have too much free estrogen and too much free testosterone,
102
it can be very dangerous for various reasons,
103
but you just don't want a lot of active testosterone and a lot of active estrogen floating around through your bloodstream.
104
So the body tends to lock up about 99% of all of it,
105
and only one to 2% of it is free.
106
And so they found people that have bad acne have very low levels of this protein.
107
Okay.
108
There's just not enough to bind it.
109
So they're having more free testosterone.
110
And then that excess androgen is going to then cause more enlargement of the sebaceous gland,
111
more oil, more infection, more bacteria, et cetera.
112
Now, the big question is what causes low amounts of this protein to exist?
113
Okay.
114
And the answer is, you ready for this?
115
Are you sitting down?
116
High insulin, okay.
117
Or insulin resistance.
118
That means high amounts of carbohydrates in your diet.
119
As in teenagers consuming a lot of carbohydrates and sugar.
120
In fact, an average teenager consumes the most carbohydrate of any point in their life right at
121
that point in the teenager years.
122
So they're dumping so much carbohydrate into their system on top of an already existing high level of androgen.
123
So it's just the perfect storm for developing acne.
124
Now, a couple other things that can do it,
125
a fatty liver, the more fat you have on your liver,
126
the less of that binding protein you're going to have, okay?
127
Inflammation in the liver.
128
And so as you can see,
129
the liver is really, really important in the regulation of these hormones.
130
Now, a couple other things can do it.
131
If you have a low thyroid,
132
which usually is caused by either a liver problem or high levels of estrogen, okay?
133
Because the people don't usually have a primary thyroid problem.
134
It's usually caused by something else and a fatty liver could do it or high levels of estrogen could do it.
135
Also high cortisol as in stress can make things worse and increase more available testosterone,
136
thereby triggering more of the acne.
137
All right.
138
So that's number one.
139
And the solution is very, very simple.
140
Stop eating the sugar and the carbs.
141
Okay.
142
Get on a healthy keto plan.
143
Stop snacking.
144
That's a big one, especially for teenagers.
145
And also start doing intermittent fasting.
146
Those three things, it's going to be the common thread to this video,
147
but very, very important.
148
Milk thistle is a fantastic natural herb to help the liver rejuvenate,
149
recover, as well as to normalize that protein.
150
Not to mention it can help you remove fat from the liver as well.
151
So milk thistle is a great thing for acne for these reasons.
152
All right, number two, just high insulin in general,
153
not having anything to do with the liver will then increase your androgens.
154
I mean, take a look at a condition called polycystic ovarian syndrome,
155
very common in women.
156
Where does that come from?
157
High levels of insulin.
158
They nearly always have high insulin resistance,
159
which actually is going to allow the body to pump out more insulin.
160
And if they can just Just cut down the carbs, okay?
161
Stop snacking and do intermittent fasting.
162
Those three things, bam, the problem goes away.
163
So if you have acne,
164
you need to start to do that.
165
A really good herb, and you can get this as a tea as well, is berberine.
166
Berberine works very similar to metformin, okay?
167
What is metformin?
168
That's a medication for diabetes,
169
and it works to help get in check insulin resistance.
170
And the interesting thing is berberine is almost equivalent in function,
171
but without the toxicity.
172
There's side effects from medications.
173
But if you look up the relationship between metformin and getting rid of acne,
174
it's a great way to get rid of acne.
175
But the problem is it's medication.
176
So why can't we just use a natural form of metformin with less toxicity?
177
All right.
178
So, so far we have lower that binding protein by doing low carb.
179
no snacking, fasting, milk thistle.
180
Then if we add berberine on top of that,
181
now we're really going to see some nice, cool changes.
182
Now, there's a couple other things that are going to happen when you start doing this.
183
The gland, which is kind of in a large state,
184
is going to start to shrink and reducing the oil that's in the gland too.
185
Green tea, green tea actually handles every potential pathogenic cause of acne.
186
I mean, it reduces inflammation.
187
It actually is great as an antibacterial.
188
It reduces the sebaceous gland directly,
189
as well as its oil.
190
It also helps with insulin resistance and it makes insulin more sensitive.
191
So then it can help reduce insulin.
192
So green tea is a very,
193
very important remedy in acne as well.
194
You can even probably get it as a cream and put it topically as well.
195
And the last little remedy I would recommend is zinc and copper.
196
Sometimes you just get it in a trace mineral blend,
197
but zinc and copper, a deficiency of zinc,
198
also a deficiency of copper can be one of the primary root causes of acne.
199
You need both.
200
In fact, you need zinc to help you absorb vitamin A,
201
which is essential for your skin and also to prevent acne.
202
But copper is involved in a very powerful antioxidant, okay?
203
It's called SOD.
204
And copper goes in there
205
and cleans up all the oxidation that's occurring in the skin from all the inflammation and the oxidative stress.
206
So copper is a very powerful antioxidant that can help reduce inflammation and it works with zinc.
207
All right.
208
And I have a few more points here.
209
Don't pop your zits anymore.
210
Okay.
211
Just do this protocol.
212
Don't over clean your skin.
213
Don't scrub your skin.
214
It's not the dirt.
215
That's the problem.
216
In fact, when you scrub your skin,
217
you're going to get rid of all the good,
218
friendly bacteria that's there to protect you.
219
And now you have this redness in your face.
220
So don't overclean your skin.
221
Also, when you take a shower,
222
get a filter to filter out fluoride.
223
Fluoride is very, very irritating to the skin.
224
Now, it's not going to cause the type of acne that maybe you have right now,
225
but it can keep your skin kind of red and irritated.
226
So just get some filter to pull out that fluorine.
227
That's just as a side note.
228
It's not the main thing you should do,
229
but it's one of the things that it's very important.
230
The other thing to avoid is milk.
231
Milk has a lot of hormones,
232
including both androgens as well as estrogens.
233
It's a growth hormone.
234
So I would highly recommend you avoid dairy for a while.
235
That right there might help you greatly.
236
And then if you have these scars on your skin,
237
get a real high quality vitamin E oil and rub it into the skin before you go to bed every night.
238
And there's another great product for scarring that was very successful when I was in practice.
239
It's called Dermatrophin PMG.
240
Dermatrophin PMG.
241
It's a standard process product.
242
And you just take one before bed for maybe six months
243
if it's really bad or three months if it's a moderate problem.
244
All right.
245
So now you need the details of how to do the low carb and the no snacking.
246
Okay.
247
For that, I put a very simple playlist right here.
248
Check it out, get started,
249
and then come back to this video and report to me of your great success.
