1
Have you ever looked at a certain photo and wondered what happened after it was taken?
2
These next seven photos might look normal, but I assure you that you can't imagine what happened behind each one.
3
Let's start with the first photo, the Chogalisa mountain peak.
4
It's the story of two climbers, Hermann Buell and Kurt Deimberger.
5
Hermann Buell was a professional climber known for being the first
6
to climb to the 8 ,126 meter peak of a mountain named Nanga Parbat all on his
7
hand wasn't really known by anybody, but Herman noticed him and he saw promise, teaching Kurt everything that he knew about climbing.
8
Together with Fritz and Merkert, they climbed Broad Peak, a mountain standing 8 ,051 meters high.
9
When they finally reached the top, Kurt had officially climbed his first 8 ,000 meter peak.
10
Weeks later, still riding the high and the success of their achievements, Kurt and Herman decided to climb Togolisa, a slightly smaller mountain.
11
But just summit, a severe snowstorm kicked up, making it impossible for them to see anything.
12
With their lives in danger, they had no choice but to descend.
13
But with every step, it became harder and harder to keep in contact.
14
Suddenly, Hermann's foot slipped.
15
His body slid along the snow, plunging him into the icy unknown.
16
Kurt had no idea what happened.
17
He called out for Hermann, but the conditions were too brutal.
18
There was no way he could ever hope to find him.
19
All he had were the Airmen.
20
He had to do this alone.
21
Before he started the long trek down, Kurt turned around and took this photo of the Chogolisa Peak.
22
When he finally reached the base of the mountain, Kurt asked other mountaineers to search for Airmen, but they couldn't find his body anywhere on the mountain.
23
They had to assume his body was still trapped somewhere in the ice, never to be found again.
24
Kurt would go on to conquer another mountain, the Dalagiri, a 8 ,167 meter high peak,
25
the second person in history to individually conquer two peaks over
26
8 000 meters the first was herman kurt deinberger is still
27
alive today at the time of making this video he's still climbing mountains at the age of 92.
28
the second photo is of a black bear at a nature
29
reserve called apsawa in 2014 a young man named darsh patel and four friends went to the upsawa nature reserve for
30
At that moment, Darsh took the photo.
31
They started to run away as the bear got closer.
32
Each person ran in a different direction.
33
But because they ran in different directions, the bear could only chase one person, which happened to be Darsh.
34
He couldn't outrun the bear and was attacked.
35
His friends managed to escape and call the police.
36
The police arrived and managed to drive the bear away, but they couldn't save Darsh.
37
He was attacked and killed by the bear that day.
38
There's a tip.
39
you should play dead to stay safe.
40
However, if you encounter a black bear, you should make yourself appear larger to scare the bear away.
41
For example, if they had seen the bear and stood close together to appear as a large entity and made loud noises, the bear might have been frightened and run away.
42
In fact, statistics show that attacks by black bears are extremely rare, as black bears are seldom aggressive towards humans.
43
However, because the four of them ran away that day, predatory instincts, putting them in danger.
44
The third photo is of a diving trip and involves a young couple, David and Tina Watson, who both shared a love for diving.
45
In 2003, they went on a honeymoon trip to a seaside location.
46
They took a boat there, put on their diving gear, and jumped into the sea.
47
After diving and going deeper to see the coral reefs, everything seemed peaceful, but then disaster struck.
48
While diving, David saw that his wife began to show signs of she started to sink while he couldn't save her.
49
So he surfaced to seek help from those on the boat.
50
At that time, other divers in the area captured this photo.
51
The diver in the center of the photo is unrelated to the story.
52
However, the person lying there is Tina Watson, captured just as she sank to the bottom of the sea.
53
After surfacing to seek help, a professional diver jumped into the water to search for Tina.
54
After diving for a while, he found her and brought her to the boat.
55
The day after the incident, the police got involved.
56
David was questioned multiple times, and each time he gave a different version of events, totaling up to 16 different accounts of what happened that day.
57
Another detail the police discovered was that David had taken out a life insurance policy on Tina, meaning he would receive the payout if Tina died in an accident.
58
On the day of the incident, other divers saw Tina and David embracing in a manner that seemed
59
an experienced diver could have easily saved his wife but didn't.
60
With all this information, the police concluded that David was guilty of murdering Tina for the life insurance money.
61
They described that he had removed her breathing tube, causing her to suffocate.
62
However, this was only the police's speculation, and David did not confess to the crime.
63
He was prosecuted in Australia as they were vacationing there, and later extradited to the United States for trial.
64
David not guilty.
65
Overall, this photo is tied to a complex case and no one truly knows what happened to Tina Watson that day.
66
The fourth photo, it is a photo of Andrei Karlov.
67
Andrei Karlov was the Russian ambassador, the main diplomat and representative of Russia in countries like North Korea, South Korea, and most recently, Turkey.
68
In 2016, during an art exhibition in Turkey, Karlov was giving a speech about Russia.
69
He was surrounded by many bodyguards, so he always felt But as Karlov was speaking,
70
a bodyguard behind him pulled out a gun and shot him multiple times in the back, causing him to collapse.
71
After shooting, the man said something before being shot down by the police and bodyguards.
72
On that day, both the assailant and Karlov died.
73
This is a picture of the man.
74
His name was Mevlut, a Turkish man and an off -duty police officer, not Karlov's bodyguard.
75
The motive for his assassination of Karlov is unclear.
76
revenge.
77
Others say he aimed to disrupt relations between Turkey and Russia.
78
On that day after the shooting, Mavut said many things, including, don't forget Syria, don't forget Aleppo.
79
This statement was believed to be related to the Syrian civil war.
80
However, the exact reasons behind the assassination and its connection to these issues remain unclear.
81
So if anyone knows more, please comment on this video.
82
This photo was taken just before Karlov's speech, and the chilling aspect is in the frame unnoticed by anyone.
83
The fifth photo is of a girl at Manon High Bridge, an Indiana trail often used for hiking and sightseeing.
84
In 2017, two best friends, Abigail Williams, known as Abby, and Liberty German, known as Libby, decided to go to Manon High Bridge.
85
After walking for a while, they stopped and Libby took out her phone to take this photo of Abby.
86
This was the last known photo ever taken of these girls.
87
Their families and friends couldn't find any information whereabouts and reported them missing.
88
When the police found their bodies later, they found clues suggesting that the girls had been murdered.
89
Initially, the police had no leads, but then they discovered a photo taken that day by a witness, which became the crucial clue to solve the case.
90
The man in the photo is believed to be the prime suspect.
91
In May 2017, a sketch of the suspect was released, and in 2019, a new sketch was made.
92
Despite these sketches, no one matching found.
93
In 2022, the police identified a man with substantial evidence linking him to the case.
94
His name is Richard Allen.
95
Besides Allen, the police also consider the theory that the girls might have been killed in a cult ritual, but this remains a hypothesis.
96
The investigation primarily focuses on Richard Allen, and as of the time of this video's creation, the case is ongoing.
97
This case is also known as the Delphi case, named after the town of Delphi where it happened.
98
It is a solved case that may be resolved within the next few years.
99
The sixth photo is the handshake photo.
100
This photo was taken in 1978 and features two people.
101
The person on the left is First Lady Rosalind Carter, the wife of President Jimmy Carter.
102
She was a very powerful figure in the White House.
103
The person on the right is a man named John.
104
The story I'm about to tell is mainly about him.
105
John was a hardworking guy, having done various jobs like managing a KFC, being a chef, starting his own business.
106
His friendly nature earned him the role of neighborhood leader.
107
One day during a major parade called the Polish Constitution Day Parade, John was chosen to lead the parade, which gave him the opportunity to meet the First Lady.
108
This might paint John as a successful person, but there was something extremely terrifying behind his success.
109
John was a serial killer named John Wayne Gacy.
110
John often dressed as a clown, a character he called Pogo the Clown, to entertain at local parties or charity events,
111
earning him the nickname the Killer Clown.
112
Nearly all his victims were male.
113
John committed numerous murders between 1972 and 1978.
114
His method was to lure his victims to his home, often promising them jobs, then handcuffing them and strangling them with a rope or his hands.
115
Most of his victims were buried in his house,
116
the police caught him and he was convicted of killing 33 people, though the actual number might be higher.
117
He was executed by lethal injection in 1994.
118
John Wayne Gacy is one of the most notorious serial killers, so any photo with him in it is frightening.
119
The seventh photo is of Evan Byers.
120
Before delving into this story, you might already be startled by the photo, but this story is even more shocking.
121
Evan Byers was a handsome man from a wealthy family.
122
After rush to find a job but pursued his passion for golf, winning several tournaments.
123
Later, his father handed him a company, making Eben the president.
124
His life was smooth until an accident in 1927 on a train's bunk bed.
125
Eben fell from a height, injuring his shoulder and arm.
126
He consulted a doctor who said his injuries weren't severe and recommended Radathor, a pain relief and energy boosting medicine available at the time.
127
Eben tried it and found his arm pain disappeared and started drinking Radathor daily.
128
He consumed it for three years, totaling 1400 doses.
129
Eventually, he stopped because he began experiencing headaches, dizziness, jaw pain, and toothaches.
130
One day, his entire lower jaw fell off.
131
It turns out that Radathor was a radioactive drink containing radium, and the dangers of radiation weren't known then.
132
This photo shows Eben after losing his lower cancer.
133
His body was placed in a lead coffin to prevent radiation from spreading.
134
Following Eben's tragic incident, Rattathor was immediately banned from production and use.
135
And those are the seven photos with their stories.
