Pratica di Shadowing: A Sunday Reset Home for the Summer from Oxford - Impara a parlare inglese con i video

Creazione lezione...
1
I got back from Oxford about a week ago and I figured it's a good time
2
to have a Sunday reset and prepare to have a productive and successful summer.
3
So the first thing I'm going to do is clean up my room.
4
What I've realized from living in a small dorm, is that I have a lot of stuff that I don't really need
5
and if I haven't pulled it out of my closet
6
Over a year probably means that I should just get rid of it.
7
So I'm going to take some pictures and list these things on on eBay.
8
I've been in this dress all day since church
9
and I feel like since I should probably be getting to work on my computer now It's a good time to change.
10
So I'm gonna do that.
11
Before I get to work, I think I'm actually going to go to the kitchen and grab a snack.
12
I think I'm also supposed to cut up a pineapple. to freeze.
13
So I'm going to do that.
14
and then hopefully get some work done before dinner.
15
I am doing some work setting guest lists for roundtables for a project I'm working on.
16
with a company I did an internship at.
17
and then i'm going to plan a video i want to talk about like the social life at Oxford
18
and what that consists of.
19
how to meet people, all that sort of thing.
20
So I'm gonna try to get
21
these guest lists done first and then move on to that and then if I have time maybe film that later today.
22
this is my filming set up for this video I'm filming.
23
There's me in the viewfinder and then I have the ring light on a janky tripod, and my notes for what I'm going to talk about.
24
I always forget how good of lighting the ring light gives
25
because it was in my closet and I kind of like never pulled it out
26
but it's basically dark outside and my overhead light isn't very bright
27
so basically all the lighting right now is coming from the ring light.
28
Timothy, how's it going?
29
I'm doing good.
30
What are you doing this evening?
31
I'm making my ass.
32
You're making this?
33
How cool.
34
We had dinner pretty early, so I'm feeling like a snack.
35
I'm gonna have some grapes, I think, and maybe one of these antioxidant shots.
36
One of the best things about being home from college is the ice cream that my mom has stocked the freezer with.
37
I didn't have a freezer in college.
38
Well, I didn't have a kitchen.
39
I only had a mini fridge, so I couldn't get ice cream, which was very sad for me.
40
Before I go to bed, I'm gonna write my goals for the week of what I'm gonna get done.
41
most of it is just sending out some mail.
42
working on my scrapbook that I have for my year at Oxford although I haven't added anything to it
43
I have a freshers guide I need to work on.
44
It's basically a guide for all the new international students.
45
I am in charge of that.
46
And then I had to make a guide of the food at Oxford.
47
for also like I'm gonna do a tour
48
for that so I'm gonna make a guide first to figure out where I wanna show them.
49
And then I want to Potentially do 75 hard.
50
I realized I have a like 70, 80 days before I go back to school so it could be something I do so I'm gonna trial it tomorrow
51
and see how it goes.
52
and decide if I want to do that.
53
Well.. otherwise I need to Definitely go to the gym. and
54
I need to read a few more books because I have a goal to read 26 books
55
this year and I think I'm at 9 :00 so I'm a bit behind schedule.
56
but that's okay because I definitely have more time to read.
57
during the breaks than I do during school.
58
Like during school I read a lot for my courses.
59
but it's not really complete books ever, it's more like chapters and bits and pieces.
60
And so I can't count that towards my reading goal.
61
I want to get up fairly early tomorrow to get a walk -in before it gets too hot outside.
62
So I'm going to head to bed right now.
63
It's 11 p .m.
64
And hopefully have a good week.
