The whole point of the AI revolution is that control and power is shifting away from humans to something else.

Every previous revolution in the history of the world, the agricultural revolution, the industrial revolution, they gave humans more power.

No matter what we invented, the steam engine, the atom bomb,

the airplane, it gave us more power because we decided what to do with the steam engine, what to do with the atom bomb.

AI is the first technology which is not a tool in our hand.

It is an agent.

An agent is something that can make decisions by itself, can invent new ideas by itself.

So by definition, what's happening is that we are losing power for the first time in history to something else.

So it's getting out of our control and we cannot foresee, we cannot envision what will happen, what it will do.
