Maybe it's that sinking feeling in your stomach when you're alone or maybe it's that voice in your head whispering you're not good enough, you're useless.

Maybe someone made you feel like you had to earn your love and you just couldn't measure up.

You know, when I was growing up as a kid, my mum couldn't cope with motherhood.

So we were sort of abandoned, rejected, passed on from family members, the family member, and eventually into a home.

But that idea of rejection from my mother, well it wasn't really rejection, she just couldn't cope,

haunted me for years and years and years and it took me a long time to forgive her and to move on and realize it wasn't me,

So these things can linger, but just because that thought is loud doesn't mean it's true.

Feelings are real, but they aren't always facts.

Sometimes they're just echoes of old wounds, not reflections of who you are now.

So what does it really mean to be lovable?
