Hi John.
2
Hey.
3
So today we're talking about artificial intelligence or AI and maybe you know getting into a little bit of robotics.
4
I like it.
5
Just wanted to know your take on how you think this will change our society the advancements
6
that have been made so far in AI and robotics.
7
Well, I mean, already we've seen, you know, there's a huge push towards whether it's,
8
you know, AI in think tanks or things of that nature to, you know, people just exploring the idea of AI in terms of writing their own books,
9
poetry, art, AI that is painting.
10
I think the possibilities are endless.
11
Like we will see, you know,
12
development and exploration into ideas in areas we've never even thought of, you know.
13
Think about the idea of an AI painter or sculptor.
14
They can probably pool the knowledge of all the painters and artists of the world and come together to form,
15
you know, some entirely new form of expressionism or something of that nature.
16
The idea of AI in medicine, you know, it can look at exploring different ways of doing things,
17
things that humans have never thought of.
18
And because of the sheer speed at which computers can process
19
and for lack of a better word think um you know
20
the potential for growth in this area i think is uh endless overall do you think these things will improve
21
or worsen our our society well um like anything i think it has the potential to do both um
22
if we're not careful it It could lead to the corruption of mines,
23
the abuse of these advancements to either oppress people or subjugate them,
24
but you know with the proper
25
minds at the helm you know this could serve to benefit humanity you know if we have
26
ai taking care of things like surgeries uh exploration into dangerous
27
areas humans no longer need to endanger themselves to engage in exploration these ais can do the exploration for us
28
and we can benefit from what they find.
29
And that's not to say that humans can't still, you know, be exploring and, you know, expose themselves to all these amazing new things.
30
It just means that we can take out some of that,
31
you know, crazy level of danger and reduce that down so that humans can spend their time exploring other pastimes,
32
other leisure activities to improve their minds, their bodies, their souls, however you want to put it.
33
Interesting.
34
It's very interesting ideas.
35
So if you could have.
36
AI or a robot to help you with something in your everyday life, what do you think you would want help with?
37
Like what would you use a robot for?
38
What activities?
39
Tasks?
40
Basically it would be like a personal assistant.
41
I would have somebody to help me organize my day, my activities, help me stay on tasks,
42
stay focused, take care of cleaning.
43
I love cooking, so I would probably still want to engage in some of that myself, but there may be days where I'm busy,
44
so an AI, whether it's in robot form or something like that, to take care of those tasks for me so
45
that I can be more productive in the other areas of my life that need it would be fantastic.
46
Yeah, I agree.
47
I would love to have someone who could do chores around the house for me, like cleaning.
48
So yeah, thanks for your ideas, John.
49
It was awesome to talk to you.
50
Not a problem.
51
I look forward to it.
52
Sorry, I look forward to the next time we talk.
