Les 2 · Etappe 1: De basis
There is / there are
BeginnerVorm & gebruik
there is/are + zelfstandig naamwoord — zeggen dat iets bestaat of ergens is
1.Waarvoor je het gebruikt
Met there is / there are zeg je dat iets bestaat of ergens is — meestal als je het voor het eerst noemt.

Er is / er zijn lijkt sterk op het Engels, maar gebruik geen have om te zeggen dat iets ergens is: “My town has a big market” is goed, maar “In my town has a big market” is fout. Zeg There is a big market in my town.
2.Is of are?
Het werkwoord past zich aan aan het zelfstandig naamwoord dat erna komt.
