Firstly, I am currently unemployed because I want to relax after working hard for three years in a high-pressure environment.

Now I will tell you about my previous jobs.

My major at university was auditing, so after graduating I started my career at Grant Thornton, an auditing company.

I loved the working environment there because it was very professional and I made a lot of friends.

After that I worked as an an accountant at an aerospace engineering services company.

Even though both accounting and auditing require hard work and constantly updating knowledge, the salary is not very high compared to other fields.

For example, auditing has a peak season that lasts for three to six months, and you must travel a lot for business, so you can't sleep enough and often eat unhealthy food.

On the other hand, accounting is less busy, but it involves a lot of paperwork and report preparation.

Moreover, working as an accountant for Vietnamese enterprises often comes with many risks.

So why are there so many negative things about the finance field?

I still chose these jobs.

I chose to work in finance because I love working with numbers and I am an introvert, so I prefer to avoid jobs that require heavy communication, like sales or logistics.

Additionally, I like this job because it helps me understand how a business operates and its overall financial health.

Therefore, now I am looking for a new job in the future and I will still choose to be an accountant.
