Without any warning, my entire channel has been officially demonetized due to misleading family content.

Hi, my name is Ringo Tsuuga.

For those of you who don't know me, I've been creating storytime animations for over a year now.

I'm really grateful that so many people came together to watch me yap about my stories and experiences.

In that email I received, YouTube claims that their team of policy specialists review my channel

and decided that it's not in line with the YouTube partnership program policies.

My YouTube notification states that I posted content that intentionally

or unintentionally could attract young minors and families but contains mature themes such as sexual content or violence.

However, they never specified which videos are in violation or explained what kind of changes I need to make to my channel.

If a real person from YouTube actually reviewed my channel and all my videos, it's obvious that none of the accusations are remotely true.

I have always checked not for kids when uploading

and even then I still made sure to never show or tell anything that violated YouTube's policies.

Animation is my medium of choice.

It literally takes forever but I still do it because I love animating and that's my passion.

It's unfair and inappropriate to declare that my videos are misleading

or intended for all ages just cuz I don't want to vlog everything!

Unfortunately, YouTube has been randomly demonetizing a lot of content creators during this past month,

including many of my animator friends who work tirelessly on their videos, only to have their main source of income completely cut off.

For many of us, this is our livelihood, and it's sad to see YouTube targeting real creators instead of addressing the AI slop epidemic.

By the time you're seeing this video, I already submitted an appeal with YouTube Studio, I reached out to YouTube creators on Twitter,

and asked every creator friend I know who may have a solution to this problem.

And to be honest, I don't have high hopes due to my friends always getting the same generic copy paste response.

These emails and messages were never helpful and were probably automated as well.

I want to assume that this video can get the attention of someone at YouTube and fix my channel monetization quickly,

but I want to take this opportunity to raise more awareness.

YouTube has always been changing

and making questionable choices we're introducing AI Playground a new way for you to discover

and generate high quality videos up to eight seconds long not to make a better environment for users

and creators but to benefit the big corporal people

this as a lesson to not put all your eggs into one basket try to grow on other platforms as well,

find more ways to get sponsorships, commissions, or monetized elsewhere.
