So, on today's episode, I thought we would start with the most important meal of the day,

which supposedly is breakfast.

I don't know if I totally agree with that.

But, I wanted to give you guys two different options,

one being what I do when I'm like running out the door

and I don't have a lot of time

and I'm just like on my way to the gym and need a little something something.

and then also a recipe that I make

when I do have a little bit more time that is filled with protein and very delicious and sweet and yummy.

So I'm going to make some delicious chocolate protein pancakes.

These are really, really yummy and also really easy to make.

I'm gonna start out by doing one cup of pancake mix and that can be whatever pancake mix you prefer,

regular, gluten-free, whatever you want.

And then I'm also gonna use the Orgain chocolate protein powder,

two scoops of that.

So now I'm gonna add 3 1⁄4 cup almond milk.

You can do whatever you prefer.

Because that's unsweetened, I am actually gonna add a little bit of vanilla extract.

Okay, so now I'm gonna mix it up.

just to kind of even out and thin out the batter a little bit.

You have to kind of just eye it and see when you feel like the batter is the right consistency.

I think for me, classic pancake batter is just a little bit runnier like that.

Okay, now I'm gonna add the chocolate chips.

I like a lot of chocolate chips in my pancakes.

So next thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna cook them.

So I put the stove on medium heat.

Sometimes I'll turn it a little higher just to get the pan hot before I put the butter in.

So I'm gonna add some butter.

Spread it around the pan, as you do.

I like a lot of butter in the pan because I like buttery goodness in my pancakes, so.

I keep calling it like a healthier alternative.

The only thing that's a little bit healthier about it is like we are using all organic ingredients

But other than that, they're drenched in butter, there's chocolate.

So now I'm gonna scoop my first pancake.

I like to try to make my pancakes one at a time

because I get too overwhelmed trying to make multiple at the pan at once.

And then the last step is I'm going to take a banana.
