Shadowing-Übung: Hummingbirds – A Closer Look - Englisch Sprechen Lernen mit Video

Lektion wird erstellt...
1
G'day!
2
Today we're going to take a look at, in my opinion, one of the most fascinating birds of all, hummingbirds.
3
These tiny birds are the smallest of all birds.
4
The smallest, the bee hummingbird is just 5cm long, about the length of your finger, and weighs just 2 grams,
5
about the weight of a paper clip.
6
Let's take a look at the different parts of a hummingbird.
7
They have a beak, two eyes, two feet, two wings and a tail.
8
A hummingbird's needle-like beak and long tongue helps it to feed on nectar, a sweet liquid found inside flowers.
9
Some also eat small insects and spikes.
10
Hummingbird's wings beat fast, really fast, more than 70 times in one second.
11
This makes the humming sound that hummingbirds are famous for.
12
Another cool thing I learned about hummingbirds is that they are the only bird that can hover and fly backwards.
13
Some can even fly upside down!
14
Amazing!
15
Oh, and on that note, gotta fly!
16
See you next time!
17
Thank you.
