I'd like to talk about one of the most important historical events in Vietnam's history, which is Vietnam Liberation Day,

This day marked the end of the Vietnam War and the reunification of North and South Vietnam.

To give you a bit of background, before this event Vietnam had been divided into two regions.

The North was under Communist leadership, while the South was supported and governed by the United States and its allies.
