Hello everyone, my name is, I'm years old, I'm in class at school.

Today, I'm going to present to you about adaptation for survival.

Plants and animals have adaptations that help them survive.

An adaptation is a body part or behavior that helps living organisms meet their daily needs.

My presentation will be in four parts.

In the first part, I will discuss herbivores.

Then, in the second part, camouflage.

Next, I will talk about carnivores.

And finally, I will discuss spikes.

To begin with, an herbivore is an animal that has flat teeth for eating plants, including leaves, stems, roots, fruits, and seeds.

Herbivores range from large animals like elephants and giraffes to small insects like butterflies and caterpillars.

For example, Rabbits, cows, and goats are herbivores.

Let's turn to the second part of my talk, which is about camouflage.

Animals and insects hide by blending in.

For example, chameleons, sea turtles, and zebras are camouflaged.

The hair of the tiger provides camouflage, warmth, and protection for them.

Now I would like to talk about the third part, which is carnivores.

A carnivore is an animal that only eats meat.

A carnivore is at the top of the food chain.

Carnivores are animals that primarily consume the meat of other animals as their main source of nutrition.

Carnivores generally have sharp teeth for hunting and tearing meat.

Carnivores like tigers and lions have sharp teeth for eating meat.

Finally, I'd like to tell you about spikes.

Some animals have spikes all around their bodies, which are very spiny, so they protect themselves from enemies.

For example, a hedgehog and a porcupine have spikes.

Hedgehogs have spines to cover their backs.

When threatened, they curl up into a ball to protect themselves.

In conclusion, I would like to end with the four types of animals and the importance of adaptation for animals' lives.
