Hi!
2
Let's practice listening skills with me!
3
Well, Lily, that is actually what I want to tell you today.
4
We have been so close for years.
5
I know all your habits and everyone thinks we are dating.
6
Yes, Tom.
7
But we always tell people that we are just more than friends but under love, right?
8
Lily, I don't want to be under love anymore.
9
Tom, what do you mean?
10
Stop being just my best friend.
11
Will you be my girlfriend, Lily?
12
Tom, this is so sudden.
13
I, I, I don't know what to say.
14
I have liked you for a very long time, Lily.
15
Since grade nine, when we started going everywhere together.
16
Every time I see you smile, my whole day becomes happy.
17
You should not say things like that so suddenly.
18
My face is burning now.
19
It's evening, Lily.
20
And it's cold.
21
Then, then, maybe I'm just tired.
22
Yes, yes, that's it.
23
But Tom, we are best friends.
24
Best friends cannot be lovers.
25
Why not, Lily?
26
We understand each other so well.
27
Why can't we give us a chance?
28
Because if we date and then fail, we will lose everything, Tom we will lose this beautiful friendship forever
29
but what if we don't fail i just want to take care of you
30
and protect you as your boyfriend you already take care of
31
me tom more than anyone else you remember i hate onions you bring an umbrella
32
when it might rain you wait for me after class then
33

35
I'm really confused.
36
I can't explain it all, Tom.
37
Just know that you're important to me.
38
Really important.
39
So all the sweet moments we shared, the way I pamper you every day, does it really mean nothing to you, Lily?
40
It means a lot to me, Tom.
41
More than you know.
42
Every one of those moments, I keep them all.
43
That's why I made a rule for myself a long time
44

45
if i step over that line i'm afraid i can never go back your own rule
46
