Yeah, some mammals say the naturalist's life is weird, but you know what I say is weird?
21
Close on animals.
22
Here we go.
23
As you can see, Nongi's an elephant, so she'll totally remember everything.
24
Hey, Nongi, these dudes have some questions about Emmet the Otter. Who?
25
Uh, Emmet Otterton, been coming to your yoga class for, like, six years.
26
I have no memory of this Bebo.
27
He's an otter, actually?
28
He was here a couple of Wednesdays ago, remember?
29
Nope.
30
Yeah, he was wearing a green cable knit sweater vest and a new pair of corduroy slacks.
31
Oh, and a paisley tie, sweet Windsor knot, real tight.
32
Remember that, Nongi?
33
No. Yeah, we both walked him out, and he got into this big old white car with a silver trim, needed a tune -up.
34
The third cylinder wasn't firing.
35
Remember that, Nangi?
36
Nope.

39
It was 29THD03.
40
Zero -three.
41

42
This is a lot of great info.
43
Thank you.
44
Told you Nangi has the mind like a steel trap.
45
Oh, I wish I had a memory -linking elephant.
46
Well, I had a ball.
47
You are welcome for the clue.
48
And seeing as how any moron can run a plate, I will take that pen and bid you adieu.
49
The plate.
50
I can't run a plate.
51
Ooh, I'm not in the system yet.
52
Give me the pen, please.
53
What was it you said?
54
Any moron can run a plate?
55
Gosh, if only there were a moron around who were up to the task.
56
Rabbit, I did what you asked.
57
You can't keep me on the hook forever.
58
Not forever.
59
Well, I only have 36 hours left to solve this case.

61
Actually, I just remembered I have a pal at the DMV.
