JOHNNY's voice, JOHNNY SAYS!
2
Welcome back, everyone.
3
It's really hot out today but I'm actually pretty used to hot weather.
4
Why? It's one of the hottest places out there.
5
I've actually been to Egypt before.
6
So this isn't really a big deal.
7
Today, the people who went to Egypt with me...
8
The reason I say "people" is because they're princes.
9
I brought the princes here today.
10
Over there...
11
I don't know what they're doing.
12
Yeah, one of them is dancing.
13
Princes, please come over here!
14
Okay.
15
- Let's go - Let's go - Oh my God - Yeah, they're coming.
16
Our princes.
17
Wow, it's been a while since I've been here.
18
Come on up.
19
Come on up!
20
Hello!
21
Hello. What's up, what's up!
22
Only princes can feel it.
23
Hello! It's water paradise here!
24
Hurry it up.
25
What's wrong?
26
Yeah, hello.
27
With JOHNNY and JISUNG I was on "The Prince and the Pauper." I'm Kim Yohan, nice to meet you!
28
Hello, I am the youngest of NCT JISUNG...
29
I'm the youngest of NCT DREAM, JISUNG!
30
You used to be the youngest.
31
It became a habit.
32
But you were the youngest for a few years, right?
33
Like 7 years...? Or 8 years...?
34
That's enough, then We also filmed "The Prince and the Pauper" together Compared to then, now...
35
Do you think we've gotten closer?
36
Oh, definitely. Now that we've spent time together we got close really fast It was the kind of setting where we had to bond Of course, back in Korea, with real life and all we don't keep in touch much Still, with opportunities like this it feels really nice to see each other again Ah, that's nice And while filming content like this this is the first time I've felt so at ease Oh, really?
37
Is that a line you prepared?
38
No, I really...
39
It's just... Today, I didn't...
40
prep at all That's a little cocky...
41
Just kidding, just kidding Anyway, we're at Dongmyo today Have you ever been to Dongmyo...
42
- Have you ever been to Dongmyo? - I've actually never...
43
been here before, I don't think Have you been to Dongmyo?
44
I don't think I have Dongmyo is a place where they sell all kinds of stuff They've got vintage stuff and secondhand stuff Sense...?
45
What did you say?
46
Secondhand What's that in Korean?
47
We call it "used" Oh, used I learned "secondhand" today There's all kinds of stuff, like clothes electronics watches It's really popular these days So, everyone...
48
What do you know about Wakppu Balls?
49
Wakku?
50
Do you know what a Wakppu Ball is?
51
What do you do with the faces...?
52
Do you know Wakppu Balls?
53
Is that actually a real thing...?
54
It is.
55
- Is it called a Wakku ball? - Wakppu Ball Oh, Wakppu Ball.
56
You don't know, right?
57
No... You know squishies, right?
58
Squishies?
59
Like dried sweet potato...?
60
It's kind of...
61
Like a stress ball. A stress ball.
62
with two people who know nothing about trends - we've come to such a trendy place - Nice JOHNNY SAYS is a place where we give advice.
63
Well, I...
64
Let me show you how it works.
65
So, do either of you have any...
66
worries lately?
67
Um... I live alone, and I'm not good at dressing myself.
68
"I can't dress well." When I put on clothes and look in the mirror, is this actually okay...?
69
Can't tell.
70
Ah, but... But I really can't stand people like that.
71
Why are you so...
72
Like, what you wear and whether you look good or not you should be able to tell that much.
73
So how do you do that?
74
To do that, you need to try different looks.
75
Start by finding what really doesn't work.
76
- Like, "This isn't it"? - Yeah.
77
What worries do you have, JISUNG?
78
I'm the type to have a lot of really little, personal worries.
79
I know, I know.
80
Now, if you look up there, you see all those people watching, right?
81
while filming JOHNNY SAYS you've done stuff like that a lot more.
82
Totally. And you're kind of an E, too.
83
for an I, how do you...
84
get more used to this?
85
Let me ask you something first.
86
So... JISUNG...
87
are you even a celebrity?
88
I don't think I'm a celebrity...
89
LOL Well, because in a way it's professional instinct!
90
You need an ON button.
91
Ah, an on-off switch.
92
I'm always ON JISUNG, too...
93
you perform onstage.
94
Are you shy in places like that?
95
I don't think so.
96
Right. try bringing out onstage JISUNG even in places like this.
97
That's practice, too.
98
- I think you're right. - Yeah.
99
Anyway, let's walk around today and do some interviews.
100
let's get some practice.
101
Shall we go?
102
Sounds good.
103
So, this is Dongmyo.
104
You could call this the main street.
105
How are you feeling, JISUNG?
106
Are you a little nervous?
107
I mean, I am nervous, but I keep smelling delicious food.
108
Did you eat yet...?
109
You're hungry, right?
110
I already ate.
111
It's okay.
112
Anything you want to eat while we walk?
113
An envelope.
114
An envelope.
115
In the envelope There's cash inside.
116
Are you treating us with that?
117
Yep.
118
Oh, really?
119
I'm buying today.
120
It's a staff dinner!
121
Is there a spending limit?
122
The limit...
123
There is.
124
Uh, how much?
125
It's all cash, so...
126
When you stack books up like this...
127
Used Book Department Store Oh, they have LPs too!
128
These LPs are 3,000 won.
129
3,000 won...?
130
3,000 won.
131
Beef blood soup.
132
Blood sausage soup, oh my God Cold noodles are insane.
133
Have you eaten?
134

135

136

137
Wow, sunglasses!
138

139

140

142
Are they okay...?
143
Just wear those.
144
Huh...? I can just take them...?
145
Can I take this without paying?
146

147
Me too...? - Oh, my heart is warming up... - Thank you, sir.
148
Korea's really this nice?
149
But is orange trendy these days?
150
Even the camera is orange.
151
They matched it all in orange.
152
JISUNG, should you take this off?
153
Oh, this.
154
I thought this was the focal point.
155
I thought this was the focal point.
156
Do you see anything that stands out?
157
Is this vintage? This kind of style?
158
Right. Coffee-stained Nikes, coffee style I don't have an eye for fashion Seeing this stuff, I feel like I might develop one And over here, you've got...
159
There's a watch Are you into watches at all?
160
I'm not really into watches...
161
Do you like watches?
162
I like watches I think watches would look great on you, JOHNNY.
163
Hello. Anything trendy lately...?
164
Like, what kind of stuff...?
165
What's trendy these days?
166

167

173
How about this Seiko?
174

175
Then it should be cheaper, right?
176
It works. It just needs a really good shake first.
177
Hmm, I'm not sure about it.
178
Why would you pass up all these popular ones for that?
179
It's cute though.
180
- Hey, JISUNG, come here. - Why?
181
Try it on. Dude, that's insane.
182
- How much is this? - It fits perfectly.
183
80,000 won.
184
But it doesn't work.
185
I said you just need to shake it a lot.
186
Try this one on.
187
- Hey - It is kind of big It's pretty, though?
188
How much is this?
189
10,000 won Why are you suddenly taking 10,000 won off?
190

But it's about time to start the interview Hi!
212
Can we interview you for a second?
213
Oh, sure, sure.
214
Could you briefly introduce yourselves?
215
I'm Min Hyeon Jeong from Gyeonggi-do.
216
I'm Kang Ju Hui, also from Gyeonggi-do.
217
from Gyeonggi-do to Dongmyo?
218
- Why Dongmyo...? - Exactly.
219
It's famous for its toy market...
220
A Wakppu Ball and...
221
Oh, can I see...?
222
They don't know what these are.
223
I'm curious.
224
- They don't know Wakppu Balls. - What do they look like?
225
I just bought them too, but...
226
It looks like this, and...
227
this is a squishy...
228
So cute, right?
229
About how much are they?
230
shocked at checkout too This was 9,000 won.
231
I asked again at checkout, "Why is this 12,000 won?" Can I touch it a little?
232
Sure, sure.
233
- Just a little... - Yeah.
234
You can open it too.
235

236
You can open it and try it.
237
How do you use that?
238
We've never tried it either.
239
Please, go ahead.
240
Do it in front of us.
241
No, you go first.
242
This...
243
only gets...
244
one shot?
245
Only one shot.
246
We'll let you have it.
247
We'll just buy another on our way out.
248
Take it.
249
For real...?
250
Take it. I waited in line to buy this, you know.
251
Hey, but seriously You only get one chance.
252
Feel it.
253
Dude...! No, it's like, there's something inside...
254
The hard bits break apart.
255
Right, right.
256
Oh...! You haven't tried it before?
257
Yeah, I bought it 'cause I was curious...
258
Wow... What an honor...!
259
Hey, you really need to savor it.
260
Wanna try it?
261
You wanna know, huh?
262
It's broken, so...
263
Why is everyone smelling it?
264
This is insane.
265
Just keep it...
266
I messed with it too much, sorry.
267
Any trends you've been wanting to try lately?
268
Let us know.
269
Trends these days...?
270
Do you film challenges?
271
Nope.
272
Ah, that is a trend these days.
273
I've seen students filming them at theme parks.
274
Ah, there's not much these days.
275
Like... There's this too.
276
There's this too.
277
You're backing away, though. Heh.
278
Come back. I won't do it.
279
Oh, here too.
280
There are a few people here too.
281
Could we get a quick interview...?
282
Sure! Come on over.
283
Could you give us a quick introduction?
284
I'm Kim Su Yeon, 30 this year.
285
Thirty. I'm Yeom Hye Jin, and I also turned 30 this year.
286
How was it before turning 30?
287
Were you a little nervous?
288
Not nervous—more like hopelessness I also was overthinking things a lot but the moment I turned 30!
289
It was no big deal, right?
290
Actually, there is one thing What is it?
291
All at once...!
292
I lost three things What? Oh my God That's so sad What three things did you lose at 30?
293
First: I can't walk well Can't?
294
I can't really talk anymore I can't speak well, either I lost my memory I lost my memory I can barely remember what happened yesterday...
295
It gets worse in stages at 30 But it's okay Why? Why is it okay?
296
I... can't remember things even now I'm 25 That's a little serious...?
297
So what do you do for work...?
298
I'm...! An elementary school teacher I seriously respect you...
299
What are elementary school kids like these days?
300
I think kids these days pick up internet culture so fast that they're more mature than you'd expect I'm pretty young myself but compared to back then, kids definitely seem...
301
like they should have better manners...
302
Do kids bring Wakppu Balls and stuff?
303
To school? They bring squishies and keycaps When I see them I take them away - Take them? - Yeah Oh, then - You give it back...? - Right, right.
304
You give it back when you go home...?
305
After the kids leave I take mine out.
306
- Oh, you have one too? - I have one of my own.
307
So, you two, what are you worried about?
308
I've been so low on energy lately.
309
Do you work out at all?
310
I used to enjoy working out, but lately, it's been too much work... hehe You really should work out...
311
Working out... supplements...
312
Even supplements are too much work.
313
No willpower, huh.
314
That's the problem.
315
I have no willpower.
316
Well... Don't you want to travel or something?
317
But even that's too much work.
318
Are you an ISFP, by any chance?
319
INFP INFP?
320
Oh, you're an INFP?
321
JISUNG, when you're feeling too lazy, how do you get over that laziness?
322
Do you know any tricks?
323
Everything in this world is predetermined Right, it all goes according to fate...
324
But I have this urge to defy it.
325
So if it's predetermined that I'll skip the gym today I go anyway just to defy it.
326
Then that's your fate.
327
Well... It could be. It could be, but If I get my butt up and stand that was predetermined and if I don't, that was predetermined too.
328
You actually think like that?
329
Yeah. Don't you want to defy it somehow?
330
If I defy it, that's my fate If I can't, that's my fate.
331
The fact that I should start working out now if that's fate Oh, if it's fate...?
332
That'd be great Oh, but I have no willpower Can we interview you two for a sec?
333
- Oh, sure - Please come over here Could you hold the mic for us?
334
Uh...?
335
What did you drink? What did you eat?
336
I had a 1,000-won toast right in front of there It must be next to our coffee shop Could you briefly introduce yourselves?
337
We're high school sophomores from Chuncheon Chuncheon, Gangwon Province...?
338
How did you get all the way here from there...?
339
We took the subway Why did you come to Dongmyo?
340
We came to buy shoes...
341
Are you into shoes?
342
We're here to buy volleyball shoes Do you play volleyball?
343
You're kind of giving libero vibes?
344
Oh, yeah You meant robero, right?
345
- Libero - Oh, libero Oh, libero. Sorry about that Does your friend play volleyball too...?
346
Yeah, I play volleyball too You're kind of giving setter vibes?
347
That's right They've got the look, the look You know volleyball well I used to play too So you're here to look for shoes...
348
There were volleyball shoes up ahead Want to go check them out together?
349
That might be the problem We'll pick some out for you Yeah, yeah They're right up ahead Let me take a quick look What's got you torn?
350
I also go to a PE college prep academy told me to buy ASICS shoes I want to buy the cheapest ones possible And they happen to have ones for 10,000 won...
351
This is 10,000 won...?
352
There's no reason not to.
353
What do you think?
354
First of all, they're clean.
355
And even if they were worn before I don't think it was for that long.
356
Do you like the color?
357
Yeah, I really love the color.
358
why haven't you bought them yet?
359
I want to think about it a little more.
360
What are you unsure about? Tell me.
361
I've never worn ASICS... so I'm not sure if they're good...
362
Have you tried them on?
363
- Not yet... - Try them on.
364
The size has to fit too.
365
How's the size?
366
They fit perfectly.
367
You need to try on both. Both.
368
What's with those socks?
369
What are these cute little socks?
370
Haha Did you buy these socks at Dongmyo too?
371
No.
372
They're cute.
373

374
They fit like a glove.
375

376
Oh, they kind of have a vibe.
377
How about we buy them for you...?
378

388

389

390

391
This is the main event.
392
We've got to find the real thing here.
393
3,000 won each They're all 3,000 won?
394
I've been really into military style lately...
395
How is it?
396
JISUNG, what do you think?
397
You said you're into military style?
398
Wanna pick one for each other?
399
Should we?
400
But... Them picking something for me...
401

426
Okay, 25 million won.
427
25 million won.
428
How was Dongmyo?
429
we heard about both of your concerns.
430
That's right.
431
Did you find your ON button?
432
I'm an ENFP now.
433
I found my button.
434
I overcame myself.
435
I broke through my own wall.
436
getting into fashion...
437
isn't easy, right?
438
it's not easy.
439
JISUNG said he'd pick out clothes for you.
440
When you're picking clothes for someone else, you pay more attention to it...!
441
What clothes did JISUNG pick out for you?
442
I picked out two short-sleeved shirts.
443
And with the pants I'm wearing right now, when I matched them, they looked pretty good.
444
They're my favorite colors.
445
- Oh, really? - Oh, is that so?
446
Kind of like this.
447
- Beige tones - Oh, cute, cute.
448

Mustard style Oh, this is cute.
451

452
This is my style.
453
So I picked these two...
454
What do you think...?
