1
Track 65 Hi, my name's George.
2
You asked me about my favourite place.
3
That's a difficult one.
4
Let me explain.
5
I don't really have anywhere of my own because our flat's too small and we don't have a garden.
6
I share a bedroom with my brother, so I don't get much time to myself.
7
But when he goes out or goes to play with his friends, I can be alone in our bedroom.
8
And at those times, the bedroom is my favourite place.
9
I put all the cushions on my bed, lie there and read.
10
What do I like reading?
11
Well, mostly stories and sports magazines.
12
Hello, I'm Abbey.
13
My favourite place.
14
Hmm, let me think.
15
OK, don't laugh.
16
My favourite place isn't anywhere inside the house.
17
It's outside in the park down the road.
18
I can walk there in five minutes.
19
There's this amazing tree right on the top of the hill and there's usually no one around.
20
I like sitting under the tree and writing my diary every day.
21
The sound of the wind in the trees is brilliant.
22
It helps me remember everything about my day.
23
No one else reads my diary, only me.
24
Hi, I'm Jo.
25
Yes, I've got a favourite place.
26
It isn't in the house, though, and it isn't outside.
27
It's in the garage.
28
We don't have a car, so my mum and dad let me use the garage for my music.
29
I started playing the guitar when I was six, and that's what I do in the garage
30
and sometimes I sing I write all my own songs
31
but I don't like anyone listening to them it's quite comfortable there's an armchair in the corner
32
and I've got pictures on the walls it really is my favorite place
