1
Hi, hello.
2
You guys are gonna have to bear with me here for a moment
3
because I feel like I'm losing my voice because I have failed to drink water today.
4
So I just chugged a whole bunch of water and I feel it lubricating my vocal cords.
5
But on the other hand, I also feel like a shriveled up fish sitting on the beach dying in the sunlight.
6
But I'm having a thought on relationships that I feel like someone out there needs to hear because, okay, in relationships and in the universe,
7
all the love that's meant to find you will always find you whether it is through this person
8
or this person because I think a lot of the times
9
when it comes to relationships we think that we have found the one
10
and this person this one in eight billion people is the only person
11
that is ever going to exist in the history of the universe for us.
12
And if this person doesn't love us back the way that we love them, then automatically the whole system is fucked.
13
We're fucked.
14
We're never going to be loved.
15
All of this stuff.
16
There are 8 billion people out there.
17
There are 8 billion people out there.
18
Okay.
19
Obviously we have to categorize it down into, you know, people that you actually like, people that could like you, all of these different factors,
20
but there is at least like a hundred thousand people out there that likes every single person.
21
There are multiple matches for an individual person.
22
So I was having this conversation with my friend about relationships and like things she's going through with her partner and everything.
23
We were having this conversation of like, oh my God, if it's not this person, if it's not this guy,
24
if it's not him, then like I don't think anyone else in the universe will ever be as loving
25
and kind and caring as this person.
26
Do you really discount the universe that much to think that the love that is meant for you won't find you always?
27
Because, okay, when a person loves you, what even is that?
28
Like, it's obviously, it's a release of brain chemicals.
29
It's them finding you attractive, all of these things.
30
But I like to think that love
31
is almost like the universe or God places this feeling in the hearts of certain people,
32
of two certain people, that they are now going to love
33
and care for each other in this life the way that God and the universe cares for us every single day.
34
And this feeling is placed down in our heart from the universe
35
so that we can feel this special connection of oneness and unity with this one specific person at this one specific moment.
36
And obviously there's things like ego and emotions
37
that get in the way of that love fully expressing itself to that other person or you even fully receiving that love.
38
But when it's the right person and the right time, it's effortless and it just feels incredible.
39
But do you really think that the universe or God
40
or Allah doesn't look down and see you with all your beauty
41
and all your goodness and all your deserving and all of your wonder
42
and say all this love that I feel for you my child is going to find you.
43
Meaning that the love that is meant for you bounces around from person to person to person until it finds a body,
44
a person, that is low in ego and stable in emotion enough to actually give that love to you.
45
And then you have to be in a stable emotional place and of low ego to receive that love.
46
so truth be told any two people can love each other it just comes down to similar life goals
47
and it comes down to just accepting that that is your person
48
and loving them with all you are and having the emotional maturity to do that so
49
if you're stuck in any kind of situation where you think oh my god i've lost my person
50
and that person hurt you or that person didn't know how to give you love or that person, it just didn't work out for whatever reason.
51
It wasn't, how do I explain this thought that I'm having?
52
The love they felt in their heart will find its way into another vessel to channel
53
that same level of love into your life that you are deserving of.
54
The same way, like I've had a lot of cats in my life.
55
When one cat dies, the love that I had for
56
that cat and the love that that cat had for me gets transferred into another body, another cat.
57
And obviously this new cat has a different personality, a different way of living, a different name, a different coat, different fur.
58
And obviously this new cat is different,
59
but the same level of love has always found me within each cat that comes into my life.
60
And they've always been this amazing, lovely experience.
61
Obviously a little bit different per cat, but each time I have felt an equal or greater level of love from that creature.
62
And I really do believe that each and every human being is sent an equal level of love.
63
But the thing that gets in the way of us getting that love, because the love that we're meant to give out into the world is placed in each
64
and every one of our hearts like a seed that's been planted.
65
And the thing
66
that gets in the way of us connecting to any other
67
human being at such a deep level is just ego and emotional maturity.
68
So the best thing you can do if you want to get into a good relationship, especially this year or this month or this week,
69
is go to fucking therapy, number one.
70
Number two, learn how to let go of your ego and understand multiple things that come around with that.
71
But do some research into letting down your ego and regulating your emotions because the more open your heart space is,
72
the more it is able to give and receive love.
73
And of course, the reason why a lot of us get hurt isn't because we aren't good and loving individuals.
74
It's because the love in someone else's heart is being blocked by their ego or their emotional immaturity.
75
and we get caught in the crossfires of that.
76
So if you've been someone who's been caught in the crossfires of the one you love being painful to you, understand that that wasn't you.
77
That was just human error and misjudgment on their part
78
because they did not know how to give the love
79
that they felt and understand
80
that all the love they felt will find its way back
81
to you in the form of another person it will alchemize
82
it will manifest it will reincarnate into someone else you just have to be willing
83
and open to improve yourself in the meanwhile be open to
84
that experience and accept love when it does come another thought
85
that i've been having in relation to love in relationships is
86
the phrase you can't love someone else until you love yourself
87
and i want to re-emphasize this by saying
88
that love is a responsibility you need to be your best self
89
because okay when you get into a relationship
90
when you get into a marriage when you choose to have a kid with someone.
91
All of these are responsibilities and privileges.
92
These are not things that should happen lightly.
93
You should be in a good financial place, preferably, just because if you have a kid
94
and they want to do something like soccer
95
or they want to do something like hockey or they want to do something like ballet, in my case, that takes a huge financial toll on a family.
96
A good financial place is a good place to be in before you have a kid, just in case the kid's super smart, wants to going to private schooling
97
or they have some big crazy dream they want to chase
98
or just to have basic child care like be able to buy diapers
99
and buy food and not have them ever have to worry about money until they're 18
100
and they're out living in the world you know
101
but have them not worry about money
102
while they live with you you need to be in a good emotional place
103
so that you're not damaging this child or traumatizing it simply
104
because of your own emotional immaturity you need to be in
105
a good physical place where you take care of yourself
106
and you know how to take care of yourself and your body so that you'll live long for this child, for this marriage, for this relationship.
107
How I feel like we go about relationships way too casually, where we either get into a relationship because we want to experience it, which there's nothing wrong with that.
108
If you want to get into a relationship just to experience what it's like
109
or just to understand how to get close to a person, everyone goes through that period in their life.
110
But once you get over the hump of new experiences, there's definitely a period of maturity and understanding the privilege it takes to love someone
111
because obviously your partner whoever you're in a relationship with
112
or in a marriage with helps you grow as an individual
113
but in order to best support your partner
114
and also to make the relationship nourish itself and thrive you have to be your best self because it is very frustrating
115
for your partner to have to watch you struggle.
116
It's very difficult for anyone to have to watch anyone struggle.
117
I know that the times I've been in hospital or I've been dealing with a lot of issues on my own, how like painful it was to look in the eyes of the people
118
that I love as they had to watch me go through that.
119
And of course, supporting and loving someone is a part of a relationship, a family, a friendship.
120
But if you are someone who perpetuates their issues and drags things on longer than they should,
121
or there's just something in your life that's been nagging you for years that you can't seem to solve or fix, you bring that into the relationship.
122
And in order for you to be able to nurture something so precious,
123
it is required that you are the best person you can be, or at least the best person you can be in this moment.
124
To not backslide on your bad habits, to have a goal and a vision of who you are going to become, to take care of yourself, to love and honor your partner,
125
even when things get busy, even when things get hard.
126
and I was also thinking about what a privilege it is to have a marriage and to have a kid.
127
We go about it very casually.
128
Of course if casual is how you want to live your life
129
and how you go about having children and how you go about having marriages
130
and all of this then that is perfectly fine and that's you.
131
But I was thinking how serious relationships actually are but we treat them so fucking casually, it kind of pisses me off.
132
Because okay, when you are loving someone or in a relationship with someone, you are saying essentially, this is the person,
133
the one in 8 billion people I am going to choose to honor, respect, love, take care of,
134
provide for, for the rest of their lives.
135
They are my responsibility, my privilege to get to experience.
136
This person
137
is mine this person not only do i get to live my life i get to live their life
138
and how when we choose to have a kid with
139
that person we are choosing to bring a human life into
140
this earth with them say we are going to raise this kid together nurture it take care of it
141
and then also i was thinking about how serious a marriage actually is
142
that we don't give as much merit to it because like
143
when you're in a marriage you really have to be on
144
your a-game you really have to be on your a-game
145
because you live with this person you're around this person 24 7 this person sees the ins
146
and outs of who you are they see every bad habit you carry they see every moment
147
that you slack they see every moment you give up on
148
yourself you they see every moment you give up on them they see everything
149
and not only that but it is their job to uplift you push you motivate you
150
but it starts to become a huge drag on your partner
151
if you aren't your best self because it's almost like they got to drag you along for the ride.
152
I don't think you have to love yourself in order to love someone else.
153
Sometimes you have to learn to love yourself through being in a relationship
154
or through being in a friendship and they kind of help you up and pick you up and get you going.
155
There's also a point where you have to turn to yourself and pick yourself up and say
156
I love this person enough to be my best self
157
so they no longer have to see me struggle
158
and almost through the loving of this other person they breathe life into you
159
and you breathe life into them
160
and I don't know those are all the complex thoughts I've been having about love recently
161
so I wanted to share them because you guys seem to like it
162
when I talk about relationships
163
because I feel like I have a very nuanced way of viewing relationships
164
because my love likes a mess um no
165
but it's not it's actually great but my cats are running all over
166
so if you're hearing anything that's what you're hearing
167
but I just wanted to share this um I hope we're
168
having a great day I hope you guys are doing well I love you all very much have a great day

Shadowing?
