Many people say that it just doesn't feel like Christmas without snow.

After the Europeans adopted Christianity, they began to mix the meaning of Christmas with the image of wintertime in their own climate.

They cut pine trees, which can be easily found in northern Europe, and decorated them with colorful ornaments.

With the passage of time, Europeans spread Christianity to countries all around the world.

That is why today, when people think of Christmas, they picture snow and pine trees in their minds.
