Création de la leçon...
1
Hello shenanigans.
2
For the next 72 hours, all of the food that I'll be consuming will be coming from the Korean convenience store.
3
Now I love Korean convenience stores.
4
I think it's one of the best convenience stores I've seen across the world.
5
There's various foods, it's pretty affordable, and it's really clean, which I can't say for some.. countries.
6
I've survived off of convenience for food for a long time
7
and at one point you just get bored of it even if it's good So over the next 72 hours, I'll be showing you guys some of the recipes I've picked up
8
and we're trying new ones as well I first wanted to make this a one-month challenge
9
But then I realized that there's still more life left for me to live
10
and a month of straight-up processed food It's probably gonna cut me a solid 10 years of my life
11
So it's only gonna be a three-day challenge and it's currently 5 p.m.
12
So I guess we're gonna go get our first meal of the day BOOB BOOB BOOM Bada bop boom pow
13
So let me show you the place
14
that makes living in Korea a little more tolerable
15
And I guess I'll give you a little tour of the
16
essential sections in a Korean convenience store First we have the refrigerator zone with all the processed meats,
17
dairy products, and preservatives And this is essentially where I get most of my protein
18
And then we proceed to the ramen section
19
which in my opinion is the best thing of the convenience store I have personally tasted most of these ramen and honestly, they're kind of the same.
20
They're salty and spicy, but they're very good.
21
And then we move on to the snack section.
22
On the left aisle, we have the sweets and on the right we have the savory chips.
23
I've also tasted most of these and if you're ever in Korea, I recommend you to do so as well.
24
Some of these are bomb and it can be like a cute date night activity with your SO.
25
Assuming you're not single.
26
Today we're gonna make chicken dabokki, which I probably eat too often.
27
I use a pack of cream jambung ramen, one of my top three favorite ramens, and a buddak ddokbokki.
28
You cook them separately, combine them together, add some chicken, add some string, mozzarella cheese, microwave them all, and bada boom boom boom!
29
We have the chicken cheese rabokki, and uh uh uh uh it's so good!
30
This is our rabokki.
31
This looks really good.
32
If you combine all the calories, it's probably around 1500, but this alone will fill me for the whole entire day.
33
And 1500 calories might be too much, but I mean, what about crumble cookies? uh-huh-huh.
34
For a snack, I wanted to try something new, so today we're gonna try making cookie and cream Oreo popcorn.
35
I took a zipper bag from my house, because I'm not gonna buy a plastic bag, melted some cookie and cream nuggets, crunched up some Oreos, and I added vanilla popcorn.
36
And ta-da, voila, voila, and look at that, that looks good, and it tastes just as good.
37
Ow, my stuff.
38
Mmm.
39
This is one of the recipes I've never tried before, and hands down, one of the best recipes.
40
Look at that.
41
That looks really good.
42
Definitely recommend.
43
In terms of calories, this one probably sits at around 700.
44
I'm full.
45
Let's go home and I'm gonna sleep.
46
I wanna take them now.
47
Tomorrow.
48
It's currently 10am and I'm really hungry.
49
We're gonna go get some food.
50
Hungry hungry.
51
You too.
52
Now oftentimes, I find myself wasting a lot of money on these cute desserts you can't find anywhere else.
53
There's macarons, cupcakes, and things like this K-pop hunter Shinramyeon!
54
What?
55
For day 2, I wanted to make ramen steamed eggs, and I can never get bored of this.
56
You cook the ramen, heat up some rice, separate the noodles out, season the broth, put in two eggs and mozzarella stick, and then it goes in the microwave for three minutes, and ta-da!
57
You got yourself some steamed ramen eggs!
58
When I'm on a diet, I would throw away the noodles and add in some chicken breasts and ugh, it's my perfect breakfast.
59
It's steamy, warm and wet, and I like my food warm and wet.
60
For drinks, I got myself some zero sugar grape jelly.
61
I love grape jelly.
62
Many hours later.
63
It's currently 12 at night and I'm thinking of getting some food because I'm getting hungry but also I'm kind of sleepy.
64
So I think we're gonna get something light.
65
Maybe like a late night snack.
66
We'll see.
67
But definitely like something light.
68
I don't want a full meal.
69
I don't want a full meal.
70
So if you come at the perfect time, you could get some pretty affordable lunch boxes.
71
And I know I said I was going to get something light, but I just ended up buying a lot.
72
Like two meals worth of stuff.
73
I ended up splurging on a lot of food.
74
And I think we're just going to go eat it at a room.
75
Because I don't want to talk outside.
76
It's kind of weird.
77
Let's see what we're going to eat.
78
Wait, that's my house.
79
Wait, don't find my house.
80
What?
81
Okay, I'm editing this and I just realized that my mic was off this whole time.
82
Ugh, what an idiot.
83
So I guess we're gonna do a voiceover.
84
Now this idiot is gonna show you what he bought.
85
We have here a bulgogi cheeryuk lunchbox and we're gonna eat it with some instant curry.
86
They gave me these bada coconut biscuits for free because I just bought a lot of things and these are really good.
87
And these cheese sticks were 1 plus 1, so I ended up with a bunch.
88
We got some ice, mogu mogu, zero sugar cider, and for desserts, I got some milk and kancho, which are also very good.
89
I love kancho.
90
Now we're going to put the curry on the rice and microwave it and...
91
What's going on?
92
What's wrong with me?
93
Okay, that looks like s*.
94
Oh, God.
95
Kids, don't ever play with your bodily fluids.
96
Okay, it looks like I'm putting cheese on everything I eat. And ta-da!
97
Ooooooh.
98
This is my favorite drink from the Korean convenience store.
99
It's called Mogu Mogu.
100
There's coconut jelly inside, and this one's lychee flavored.
101
I like it mixed with some zero-sugar sugar saida oh now our curry rice is done
102
and it looks
103
so much better
104
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH Now
105
we're finally getting
106
to our sad curry rice.
107
This lunch set comes with chayyuk and bulgogi, which is basically two kinds of stirred fried pork.
108
Okay, I need to calm down.
109
Now it seems like I'm going for a cheese pool and- Bye, have a great time!
110
Now it looks like we're moving on to dessert and- Stop.
111
Stop.
112
What is wrong with me?
113
Anyways, Kancho is my all-time favorite Korean snack.
114
It's basically chocolate biscuits and I eat it with milk like how you would eat Dorios and it is unreal.
115
Uh, bro my mic was off!
116
Oh, man, I'm so sad.
117
Oh, okay.
118
If you're ever in Korea, go get yourself some kanchuan milk.
119
It's really good.
120
When it's slightly soggy, oh, it's the best.
121
Anyways, this is probably gonna be the last thing I'm gonna have in this three-day challenge.
122
Wait, I bought donuts.
123
I forgot.
124
Okay, let me have a bite of a donut.
125
We also got some donuts.
126
This one's a strawberry donut cake.
127
And I'm really full, so I'm just gonna take a little bite out of it.
128
I've never seen this before, but I guess everything strawberry and donut is pretty good, so...
129
Tell me in the comments if you've tried any of the recipes I've tried today, and if you're ever in Korea, which ones do you want to try?
130
Thanks for watching.
131
Goodbye.
132
Zaijian!
