1
Okay, first day at a brand new job.
2
Just stay calm and don't embarrass yourself.
3
Wow, this place looks really nice.
4
I can't believe I'm actually going to work here today.
5
There are already so many customers here.
6
I hope I can do a good job today.
7
Good morning.
8
You must be Maya.
9
I've been looking forward to meeting you.
10
Good morning.
11
Yes, I'm Maya.
12
It's very nice to meet you too.
13
Welcome to the team.
14
Thank you.
15
I'm happy to be here.
16
Don't worry.
17
Everyone feels nervous on their first day.
18
I'm glad to hear that.
19
I was starting to think it was only me.
20
Good morning.
21
Can I have a large latte with extra foam, please? Of course.
22
I'll prepare that for you right away.
23
Okay, one large latte with extra foam.
24
I've practiced this before, so I should be fine.
25
Wait a second.
26
Why is it making that noise?
27
That doesn't sound right at all.
28
Oh no!
29
What's happening?
30
Please stop before everyone in the cafe sees this!
31
I heard the machine from across the room.
32
What happened?
33
I'm not really sure.
34
Everything was fine a second ago.
35
I thought I pressed the latte button.
36
I guess I pressed the wrong one instead.
37
Well, that's certainly a memorable way to start your first day.
38
This is the button you wanted.
39
The other one is for cleaning the machine.
40
Oh, I see it now.
41
That makes much more sense.
42
Now that's what a latte should look like.
43
Much better.
44
Thank you for waiting.
45
Here's your large latte with extra foam.
46
It looks great.
47
Thank you.
48
Wow, that's excellent.
49
You did a great job.
50
Really?
51
I'm very happy to hear that.
52
Hi.
53
Do you have free Wi-Fi here?
54
I need to finish some homework.
55
Yes, we do.
56
A lot of students come here to study.
57
The network name and password are written on that sign over there.
58
Perfect.
59
Thank you so much.
60
Could I get a cappuccino and a blueberry muffin, please?
61
Absolutely.
62
I'll bring those out for you right away.
63
For a first day, you did an amazing job.
64
Everyone seems to like you.
65
Thank you.
66
I was nervous this morning, but now I can't wait to come back tomorrow.
67
What a day.
68
I made mistakes, learned a lot, and I can't wait to come back tomorrow.
