시간 전치사: at / on / in
초급Prepositions of time: at / on / in
at 7 o'clock, on Monday, in the morning / in 2020 — 어떤 시간에 어떤 전치사를 쓰는지
1.at, on, in — 언제 무엇을 쓸까?
|---|---|---|
| at | 시각, 정확한 순간 | at 7 o'clock, at 6:30, at noon, at midnight, at lunchtime, at sunset |
| on | 요일, 날짜, 특별한 날 | on Monday, on 2 September, on my birthday, on New Year's Day |
| in | 하루 중 때, 월, 계절, 연도, 연대, 세기 | in the morning, in July, in (the) summer, in 2020, in the 1990s, in the 21st century |

월이 들어간 날짜도 하루이므로 on을 씁니다: on 5 July(in 5 July가 아님).
- in the morning / in the afternoon / in the evening — 하지만 at night.
- at the weekend(영국 영어) = on the weekend(미국 영어).
- at Christmas, at Easter, at Tet(연휴 기간 전체) — 하지만 on Christmas Day, on New Year's Eve(특정한 하루).
- at the moment(= 지금), at the same time(= 동시에).
- at the beginning of / at the end of the month — 「On time / in time, at the end / in the end」 레슨도 참고하세요.
- 날짜: 영국 영어는 on 5 July, 미국 영어는 on July 5라고 씁니다. 말할 때는 on the fifth of July나 on July fifth라고 합니다.

See you Friday. = See you on Friday.
in + 기간은 “지금부터 세어서 그만큼 시간이 지난 후”라는 뜻도 됩니다: in ten minutes, in two weeks, in a moment.
