1.最高级后面的三种句型
最高级常常需要说明在什么范围里最……。常见的说法有三种：

快速判断：地点或群体（class、team、company、family）→ in；数量、复数名词或一段时间 → of。
2.In 还是 of？
1. in + 地点或群体
Ha Long Bay is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
下龙湾是世界上最美的地方之一。
Phong is the funniest person in our class.
阿峰是我们班上最风趣的人。
Grandma makes the best spring rolls in town.
奶奶做的春卷是城里最好吃的。
2. of + 数量、复数名词、一段时间
Lan is the youngest of the four children.
阿兰是四个孩子中最小的。
This shop is the cheapest of all.
这家店是所有店里最便宜的。
It was the happiest day of my life.
那是我一生中最幸福的一天。
Tet is the busiest time of the year.
春节是一年中最忙的时候。
3.和 ever 连用
要说“我……过的最……的”，用 最高级 + 名词 + (that) + 主语 + have/has ever + 过去分词。用现在完成时，是因为它涵盖了到现在为止的经历。that 通常省略。
This is the best pizza I've ever eaten.
这是我吃过最好吃的比萨。
That was the worst film I have ever seen.
那是我看过最烂的电影。
Who's the most famous person you've ever met?
你见过的最有名的人是谁？
讲过去的故事时（到过去某一时刻为止），用 had ever + 过去分词。Ever 也可以直接放在名词后面：the best day ever。
It was the worst storm the town had ever seen.
那是这个小镇有史以来遇到的最强的风暴。
Today was the best day ever!
今天是有史以来最棒的一天！
带 “never” 的句子可以改成最高级：I've never seen such a big fish. = It's the biggest fish I've ever seen。和最高级连用时用 ever，不用 never。
口语中，尤其是美式英语，有时会听到 the best movie I ever saw（一般过去时）。学习和写作时，稳妥的说法仍然是 I've ever seen。
4.强调：by far、one of the
在 the + 最高级 前面加 By far，强调“第一，而且远远领先”。One of the + 最高级 + 复数名词 语气较弱——并不说自己是第一。
This is by far the best phone I've ever had.
这绝对是我用过的最好的手机。
It's one of the oldest cities in Vietnam.
它是越南最古老的城市之一。
5.常见错误
He is the richest man of the world.He is the richest man in the world.
地点 → 用 in。
Phong is the funniest person of the class.Phong is the funniest person in the class.
群体（一个班）→ 用 in。
Lan is the youngest in the four children.Lan is the youngest of the four children.
数量 → 用 of。
It's the best film I ever seen.It's the best film I've ever seen.
需要 have + 过去分词。
It was the better meal I've ever had.It was the best meal I've ever had.
ever 和最高级连用。
This is the biggest fish I've never seen.This is the biggest fish I've ever seen.
用 ever，不用 never。
