Since 2023, the 8th of September has been designated as the day for honoring Vietnamese language in Vietnamese communities abroad.

And this is an occasion to honor the value

and beauty of the Vietnamese language while spreading love for it among overseas Vietnamese communities

and people learning the language around the world.

26 Vietnamese bookcases have been established around the world, across Asia, Europe and Australia.

Nearly 5,000 books have been sent by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese to 10 Vietnamese language teaching sites and Vietnamese associations.

These are two of the notable results after four years of

implementing the Day for Honoring Vietnamese Language in Vietnamese Communities Abroad project.

The development of Vietnamese bookcases and the provision of books to overseas Vietnamese communities continue to be strengthened,

bringing the Vietnamese language closer to our compatriots, especially the younger generation of overseas Vietnamese.

Nearly 1,000 teachers are now sustaining the movement to teach and learn Vietnamese in many countries and territories.

Creating interactive communication situations to stimulate learners' communication skills and communicative ability helps learners acquire Vietnamese more naturally and effectively.

and raised thousands of kilometers from Vietnam who still find their homeland through the sound of the Vietnamese language.
