Lektion 78 · Etappe 6: Verbmuster
„It takes … to“
Mittelstufe“It takes … to”
Form & Gebrauch
it takes + Zeit/Mühe + to Verb — was etwas braucht
1.Form
It takes + Zeit / Aufwand + to + Verb sagt, wie viel Zeit oder Aufwand etwas braucht. It ist ein leeres Subjekt; nur take ändert sich mit der Zeitform (take – took – taken).
| Muster | Beispiel |
|---|---|
| It takes + Zeit + to + Verb | It takes ten minutes to walk there. |
| It takes + Person + Zeit + to + Verb | It takes me ten minutes to walk there. |
| It takes + Zeit + for + Person / Sache + to + Verb | It took a week for my ankle to heal. |
| It takes + Aufwand / Eigenschaft + to + Verb | It takes courage to say no. |
| How long does it take (+ Person) + to + Verb? | How long does it take you to get to work? |
Mit it heißt das Verb für benötigte Zeit immer take: „Ich habe zwei Stunden gebraucht, um den Drucker zu reparieren“ = It took me two hours to fix the printer. Mit einer Person als Subjekt nimmst du spend + -ing: I spent two hours fixing it.
2.Wie man es benutzt
1. Die Zeit, die man für etwas braucht
It takes about two hours to get from Hanoi to Hai Phong by bus.
It took me three years to learn to drive.
It only takes a minute to sign up.
Die Anmeldung dauert nur eine Minute.
2. Nach der Dauer fragen: How long does / did / will it take…?
How long does it take to boil an egg? — About seven minutes.
— Etwa sieben Minuten.
How long did it take you to get your driving licence?
Kurze Antworten: It takes about an hour. / Not long. / Ages! (sehr lange) / It depends on the traffic.
It takes a lot of practice to play the guitar well.
It takes courage to speak in front of a big crowd.
4. Wenn jemand oder etwas anderes die Zeit braucht: for + Person / Sache + to + Verb
It took six weeks for my visa to arrive.
It took ages for the bus to come.
Getting a visa took us six weeks. Auch eine Person kann Subjekt sein: She took ages to reply.
3.Take in verschiedenen Zeitformen
| Zeitform | Beispiel |
|---|---|
| Simple Present — üblich, allgemein | It takes me an hour to cook dinner. |
| Simple Past — abgeschlossen | It took me an hour to cook dinner yesterday. |
| Present Perfect — bis jetzt | It has taken us three months to save half the money. |
| Zukunft — Vorhersage | It will take them a month to build the bridge. |
| would — vorgestellt | It would take forever to walk there. |
| Verlaufsform — dauert noch an | It's taking ages to download. |
It took me five years to finish my degree.
4.Take, spend, last, need
| Verb | Gebrauch | Beispiel |
|---|---|---|
| take | Subjekt it oder die Tätigkeit; benötigte Zeit + to + Verb | It takes me two hours to clean the house. |
I spend two hours cleaning the house. |
| last | wie lange ein Ereignis dauert (kein to + Verb) | The film lasts two hours. |
